I really hope that Ramos sticks with Boateng in the middle for todays game. I think given a few games and confidence he could develop into a very good centre mid for us. Interesting that straight away Ramos put him in centre midfield, whereas Jol was only ever going to use him very rarely and as a right midfielder - not his position! I remember when we first bought him he was close to joining Sevilla, so Ramos must see something in him that he likes.

I like Boateng, seems like he really wants to take his chance and play for the shirt.

We should come up with a song for him...ideas?

Boateng doesnt really rhyme with anything though does it?

"tonite we're gunna party like we're kevin-prince-boateng" to the tune of 1999

....or not

to the tune the prince by madness

boateng he sold the heat
with a rocksteady beat

An earthquake is erupting
but not in orange street
a ghost dance is preparing
you got to help us with your feet

If you're not in the mood to dance
step back grab yourself a seat
this may not be uptown Jamaica
but we promise you a treat

CHORUS:
bowl me over
with you bogus dance
shuffle me off my feet
even if i kept on running
i'd never get to orange street

So i say there's not much left to say
for the man who set the beat
so i leave it up to you out there
to get him back on his feet

CHORUS x 1

Bring back the who is the we want the
Bring back the Prince

simple done ,now get singing

So I'd like to know where, you got the notion
Said I'd like to know where, you got the notion
To rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby
Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over
Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby
Rock the boat

Boateng did enough to convince me he should start regularly, in place of either Zokora or Hud.

Decent enough game against Boro. Looked hungry which is a start.

Worth a run of games, can't be any worse than the dross we've been watching. Just don't get your hopes up, he's no miracle worker.

I hope we will play Boateng and Zokora together in today's game. I also hope to see Taarabt on the bench, with 7 substitutions avalible.

As a general rule of thumb there are seven substitutes available. Not seven substitutions, though. Prince Bong is on the bench, so is Kaboul, no Taarabt.

The more SK posts at the moment, the more I'm wondering if he actually IS Damien Commolli.

Would explain much. About both of them.

The lad looked really impressive when he came on, admittedly against ten men, and a sh1te ten men at that, but still. I hope he does really stake his claim if he gets a number of first team appearences under his belt.

He hasn't done anything as yet, to warrant his name being sung.

Did you watch a different 30 mins to me??? I admit, living in Glasgow I only get to see Spurs on TV and can't make too many judgements on players but he looked lacklustre at best and IMHO, woeful. He looked like Hudd for pace but with none of the class on the ball.
I hope one of our midfield possee breaks out of the pack and becomes the dynamic, controlled, passing midfielder we desperately need. The prince looked far from that tonight.
Ramos seems to know what he wants though and KPB has been in his sights for a while so hopefully Ramos's ability to make average players great works on KPB
