Welcome back, fella.

This will vary between supporters, I'm not happy with the way he conducted himself through this whole thing. I think he's been quite weak but in other ways he's been coldly strong. He obviously wanted Ramos in; he's always wanted that Big Name manager and he's got one and after all it is for the overall good of Spurs to improve ourselves. 'It's just a shame Jol wasn't given a bit more of a chance to make himself a Big Name.'

Sorry Stoof, Jol was never good enough at Spurs, we have been bickering for 2 years now about Jol, and he's gone now, so get over it. The only big name he would have got at Spurs would have been 'only the second ever manager to steer Spurs to relegation'.

I am fully behind Ramos, FULLY, I will give him my unrequited support, finally we have a manager with a track record, he has WON things, cups, the Uefa cup twice, and that is all I could ask for.

How do you know? You've totally missed the sentiment behind my post. And it smacks of reading up to that point, and then starting your reply. I even end my post with "Viva la Ramos Revolucion". I'm excited about it.

It doesn't detract from the awful circumstances behind our best manager for 20 years departing - does it? It's still a shame. It doesn't affect us now - but we're allowed to analyse the past. You seem to think that just because I liked Martin Jol as our manager that means I'm incapable of liking another? It's not Ramos' fault that Levy did it a bit unprofessionally is it? So despite your opinionated assumptions that you "know" what would have definitely happened in the future, I'd like to think there's a small place in your heart for a manager who did us good.

Hey guys im back again this season after your views on a few things as part of our build up for our game on saturday.
  • What do you think of the Ramos/Jol saga?
  • Are you happy with your chairman?
  • Is it possible to have a 'six pointer' so early in the season?
  • The best teams are better than the sum of their individual parts - at the moment Spurs are the opposite, how do you think Ramos will turn this around?
  • Has your opinion of berbatov changed this season ?
  • Mido was fantastic for his first couple of games then hasnt looked interested since he picked up a knock. Was this the same when playing for you ?
  • Who is the boro player that will be the biggest threat to you on Saturday?
  • What is a realistic final league position for you this year ?
  • Is your academy going to deliver the next premiership star? If so who?
  • What will the score be on Saturday ?

Thanks

JK

Good to see you back again and hopefully the Mighty Spurs are gonna do a similar performance to the one we did in the CCup this season.

  • What do you think of the Ramos/Jol saga? Dunno really, the new manager seems not to have any problems about taking players off when they perform badly, but its a bit too early to judge imo.

  • Are you happy with your chairman? Not with the way he dealt with the Jol situation but in general YES, he has built the club into a title contender with injecting money and getting the business side of things on the level, all he needs to do now is sort out the PR side of things.

  • Is it possible to have a 'six pointer' so early in the season? Nope

  • The best teams are better than the sum of their individual parts - at the moment Spurs are the opposite, how do you think Ramos will turn this around? By winning games in the PL starting at Boro this weekend.
  • Has your opinion of berbatov changed this season ? He'll come through very soon, this is only his 2nd season at spurs and the PL.
  • Mido was fantastic for his first couple of games then hasnt looked interested since he picked up a knock. Was this the same when playing for you ? Same old Mido, one season wonder imo although for you lot it seems that its just a 2 game wonder, good luck to him, bad attitude player imo.

  • Who is the boro player that will be the biggest threat to you on Saturday? Mark Schwarzer.

  • What is a realistic final league position for you this year ? Top 6.

  • Is your academy going to deliver the next premiership star? If so who? No i don't think we have enough young talent in our academy, but i don't get to follow them very much either.

  • What will the score be on Saturday ? 1-1 would be nice but a win would be better. who knows which Spurs will turn up?!

Stoof, we have one thing, a most important thing in common. we both love and support Spurs. I always liked Jol, but I didn't think he was a great manager as some supporters. He made some basic errors in his decision making, was too close to the players from what I could see, and won nothing. Sadly, all his good work, 2 top 5 finishes were going backwards this season, the players had stopped working for him, which had become very dangerous.

Sure the board were very indiscrete in their approach for Ramos, and something should have been done there and then, dragging things out was very bad for the club, but that is in the past now.

I was really getting fed up with one manager splitting the majority of Spurs fans down the middle, I have never experienced any manager in the past causing such a rift, in 40 years of going to games. The club, THFC is the only thing that matters to me. Keith Birkenshaw was the most successful manager since the late and great Billy Nick, because he won things, in style I might add, FA cup twice, Uefa cup, and a League cup final. We all want to see our team walking out at Wembley in the cup final, we all want to see Spurs playing in the CL competing against the cream of Europe.

Let's put the Jol saga behind us, unite behind our new leader Ramos, and scream on the Spurs with every fibre of our soul. COYS

He was shit hot for us the first few games - picked up a knock, put on some weight, started looking disinterested and dowright lazy during games.

The kid lacks any styaying power - when hes happy, motivated and on form he's a top player. Trouble is he can't hold peak form for more than a couple of games at a time.

This weekend could see a huge turnaround and see us catapulting up the table. A run of wins would turn things round dramatically and put his back in contention for a UEFA place and maybe something more. It's early enough in the season to turn it around.
