I have mixed feelings. Deep down I am disappointed it was not against one of the presumed weaker teams. However, we played well against Barca, albeit not their 1st eleven. But, if we do overcome the team top of the German league by 9 points, it would be a huge boost to our confidence and rank us up there with the favourites to win the trophy! My usual optimism in Poch and this squad remains. Borussia probably are not that happy at drawing us as we are not one of the rabbits despite coming second in our group. Dare to dream.

Apart from Porto who are the proposed weaker teams? It was always gonna be hard once we got through imo but am confident we can do well

A toughie- possibly the toughest-Dortmund are playing amazing football at the moment.
Think we are underdogs- we'll need our best players fit- but we can do it.

You are right, Porto along with Utd appear to be the two weakest. However, if we had to meet a German side, I think Shalke would have been the easier one to get. But we didn't and we have the history backing us that we have beaten them before. It won't be easy, quite probably yet more nailing biting matches to watch. However, like you I too have confidence it is possible to beat them.

Schalke were a 2nd placed team who we couldn't have drawn anyway.

Porto were the ones to get - everyone else = difficult draw, which is hardly a shock given that we're in the hat with arguably the 15 other best teams left in Europe
