What happens with Bosmans after the UK leaves the EU?

For example could we just keep Toby until the end of his contract and then, say, flog him off to a league 2 team?

Just asking.

How could we flog him to a team he doesn't want to join? Once his contract expires, he can do what he wants.

Before the Bosman ruling a player out of contract could not just join any team on a free.

Is the Bosman ruling for every continent?

Obviously we couldn’t just flog him to whoever we wanted.

Certain though that we wouldn’t skip the Bosman ruling even if it was an option.

Depends on various factors. Whether or not there is a deal between the UK and EU that requires us to follow certain laws and, deal or no deal, what Parliament decides to do with currently European law in general. I expect the most likely scenario is that existing EU Law will be adopted into UK law initially until such time as Parliament can explore change and legislate accordingly, which might not happen until there has been a general election. For example I fully expect free movement of people to continue after March 2019 until such time as a new immigration system for EEA nationals is planned and a bill passes through Parliament successfully. Since Bosman is linked to free movement I think it will continue at least until this happens.

"Bad luck Toby, your contract is now up and you'll be playing for Cambridge United for the rest of your years".

Can kind of see why they brought that ruling in.
