The future of British boxing IMO...

Had a great win against the late substitute Tom Dallas tonight, Price's record is now...

11 fights, 11 wins, 9 KOs.

I can remember talking about him before the 2008 Olympics and being told "he's shite", not on here I hasten to add, some of those same people, I.E SKY are now singing the same song!!

id be more impressed if Dallas had of been given more than 4 days to prepare

Ya see that's the excuse everyone, including the Sky pundits were using. Dallas had sparred with Price so knew him and his style better than a lot of people, they are mates as well, but I don't think even if he'd been fully trained his chin could've stood up to that finishing right hand. Price has a better jab - and could use that to keep his man at range and to set up the big shots.

I agree with the op, Price has a big future if he plays it right. Would love to have seen how his sparring with Haye went - I'll bet he gave Haye lots of problems.

Price being lined up to fight John McDermott next, then the winner of Chisora and Fury.

I'd be surprised if he won a World Title, there just seems something about him that suggests he is a reluctant fighter. An aggressive boxer like Chisora or McDermott is likely to upset his perfect form and technique.

A reluctant fighter? I don't see that at all.

Also, his power would/will KO Chisora, Fury and McDermott IMO...

And a lot of higher ranked fighters too. Technically he is quite good, there's plenty there to work with and that bomb of a right hand can take him places.

Definitely impressing. He'll have too much for Fury if they fight.

Hopefully he'll then push for a match with Povetkin.

I'd definitely back him over Chisora and all the other current British heavyweights.

I know Dallas, sparred with him and was their both times he has fought Price. Even if he had taken that fight with 4 months notice he would have lost. Price is a cut above him to be honest. Tom is a lovely fella though.

He is a good fighter but his chin will let him down ( Price that is )

Joshua has already exceeded Price's amateur achievements and is still only a pup. Certainly one to watch in the summer.

It seems like Fury is ducking him.

I'm glad we have a British heavy weight that can actually box.

That Tyson Fury is terrible.

I'm just surprised he didn't finish him sooner, lol. Facing Skelton in December next according to Maloney. Skelton's durable, but nevertheless I can't see him going much further than 4 rounds. Price is a machine. His stoppage record is pretty phenomenal at this point. None of it against world rated opposition obviously, but he's dispatched a lot of usually tough domestic operators as if they were nothing (obviously I'm not counting the ever mighty A-Force!).

Highlight of the night though, without doubt, had to be the Tyson Fury interview midway through the Degale fight where he laid into Price. I was cracking up.

Price is certainly impressing. No talk just straight knock-outs. He won't get much paper attention because he doesn't play the media game but if he continues to take on people who are known then he'll get to the top.

Fury won't stand a chance against Price. I don't think Price should fight Skelton next. Fury has to be the next opponent.

Need to see him in with someone who'll test his chin, his power is not in question, it's how he can deal with when someone connects with him properly that'll show just how good he is.

Fury can punch, but he won't be able to stand up to the punishment that Price will hand out. Time to step up in class methinks. There's no one at British level good enough for him.

I think he should try to get a match with Fury by the end of the year. Then he should see if he can convince David Haye to have his annual fight against him next year.

If think Haye wants Klitschko or no one.
