Eubank Jr has made a shedload of money which his talent never really warranted. He started too late.
He needed to be boxing from a young age, he’d have gone further.
Fair play to him though. Won’t find any privately educated, silver spoon fed, spoilt rich boys who have his toughness or ability to fight. He’s done well for himself

To be fair to him, he shows buckets of heart and a good chin along with some talent...but what chance did the wee lad have with Snr. as his 'dad' really? I recollected the family dynamic appearing slightly fucked up in the Louis Theroux documentary so I did a bit of research and found this article, which was very interesting/revealing and also a bit sad.

Even though his dad's been strutting about like a fucking aristocratic peacock at the big fights, he has not been around for that lad and I doubt he's had anywhere near enough quality training and it shows in his boxing and ringcraft.

For me, the further he keeps away from his dad, the better for him and I believe that regardless of the result against DeGale, he'll probably keep fighting, because he does have heart and is probably making a decent bit of cash.

Khan knows that Brook would beat him convincingly and everyone would then see what an overhyped and shite fighter he has been

Thing is, I actually quite like Khan.

He works hard and has taken on top challengers trying to be the best.

He has fallen short, but why that has led him to being disliked is beyond me.

Skills sadly outweigh the chin. On his night he's capable of beating a fair number of top boxers.

Always steps up to the big fights too.

I think he's mainly disliked because he's a bit of a prick.

Talented, but obviously has the same chin as David Price.

He is more than a bit of a prick though. He talks about himself like he deserves to be mentioned alongside Pacquaio and Mayweather despite being regularly outclassed

In the big scheme of things believing yourself to have more skill than you do is a minor character flaw.

What makes him a prick is how that belief he is better than he is translates into him talking about other (better) fighters not being on his level i.e. Brook.
Still a minor infraction. Boxers live with a mindset of being the best.

Khan is generally more respectful than some despite believing himself to be the best.

What fighter is going to go into a fight thinking his opponent is better than him realistically?

Possibly confusing fight talk with fighters' personalities, has had enough fights to back up his confidence and clearly has ability. I don't think Khan has ever taken a fight he didn't think he could win.

I think the general. Consensus is he's avoided a fight he shouldn't be avoiding and the excuses time and time again now give reason for many to feel he could we be.

But it’s not like he has sidestepped him to fight a bum. He is fighting who many believe to be the best in the division right now.

But it's not just now.. This will end the same as manny v May weather. When both fighters should have fought each other far nearer the prime of there careers not the end to be nice about it.
