Best display from a UK boxer I've seen this year, Saunders completely outclassed Lemieux.

Amir Khan signed up with Matchroom Boxing with his first fight in April on Sky Sports. Can see a fight with Brook happening now, shame it wont be for a world title though.

Good news, really hope the fight happens regardless of whether it is for a title.

Ohara Davies has finally mouthed off too much and been kicked off the program for his next scheduled fight. Boxers really need to learn that getting a fanbase takes more than a big mouth.

Often do themselves more harm than good.

Yeah Davies has been a bit of a twat. Just needs to look at Joshua to see how he's got his fanbase. Davies watches a lot of WWE so i wouldn't be too surprised if he thought if the chat works there it'll work in boxing too. Needs to grow up a bit.

Just seen Khan's strawberry incident on Youtube after hearing about it so much, absolutely hilarious.

Joshua v Parker confirmed 31 March, Cardiff
Joshua 1/25 for the win, unbackable.

I guess it's a bit better than the usual 1/100 you get with him. Fwiw, I agree with the bookies on this, Parker has looked plain in the majority of fights I've seen him in.

I agree, think Joshua could have him out of there in 3 rounds.

Anyone watching Okolie vs Chamberlain tonight? Can't say I have seen much of either of them.

I feel sorry for anyone who tuned in to that nonsense last night...

Especially when itv 4 had Gassiev v Dorticos in the second semi final of the cruiserweight super series! What a fight!
Last week Uysk and Breidis had a fight if the year contender in the first semi final. The final will be a classic

No wonder why Bellew ran away from the cruisers. All four of the semi finalists would take his head off his shoulders

Eubank Jnr getting beat this weekend, probably knocked out imo

It's interesting. The majority of pundits I've read think Groves will win. The public and bookies are with Eubank.

I've been much more impressed with Eubank in the last year and think he'll come out on top.

It’s based on who he’s fought for me. He’s not beaten anyone at world level and his latest opponents have been tailor made for him to a degree. Old man Abraham who has never been the most fleet of foot and the Turkish bodybuilder who was as flat footed as Krusty the clown.

He’s improved massively since his early days but lack of power, very, very average footwork and being too easy to hit spells disaster when coming up against a heavy handed, well schooled accurate boxer like Groves, who has a top class jab when he decides to use it. Groves is the bigger man too. Props to Eubank for entering this tournament though.

I think people tend to underrate George a bit based on the Froch rematch and subsequent fights. He’s always been a very good boxer. Eubanks best hope is that Groves has started to age a bit and can’t keep up with the pace

Looking forward to it though. It’s a very intriguing fight as Eubank is still unproven to a degree. Seems to have captured the imagination

You could be right, I'm certainly no expert.

I just think Eubank's ability to dodge and counter with his pace is going to be too much for Groves.
