He's been quality for a while and you must of seen him score against Arsenal in CL for Dortmund, he scored a volley

BTW you disagreed with 2 years ago when i said that Isco would be a better player than Carzola :p

did i, don't remember that

didn't see his volley either refuse to watch the goons unless they are playing us

Not the worst decision, but the one that i feel showed that the ref let the occasion get the best of him was the barnard challenge.

The ref by playing advantage, showed that he had seen the incident (Not that it was hard to miss). So he saw what bernard was doing to the player and that it constituted a foul due to unsportsmanlike behavior. The fact he didn't go back to the player after the ball had gone out of play, shows that he had lost track of the game and couldn't properly follow through with the letter of the law, by booking said player for unsportsmanlike behavior, at the next possible oppotunity.

The event got to him and the score line was the consequence. It's a shame and it happens, but i feel like the authorities and differing referee organisations could have prepared better for it. The current atmosphere of untouchable referee's fostered by Fa's and governing bodies alike, is actually degrading the quality of refereeing.
