Forgot about him. Ill be surprised if he doesn't end up signing for a massive club this summer. If we manage to sign him it would be a real coup. Gonna be one hell of a player for sure

He would tick all the boxes when it comes to spending serous £ on a player, but with Renato Sanchez going for serious coin, one would imagine that he would attract a similar fee.

Look at their transfers out in the last 5-6 years. Shaqiri was more highly rated than Embolo and I think Shaqiri went for 11M.

Don't know anything about the lad, but a quick google tells me they rejected a bid of 27million Euros in January. That's more towards the megabucks side of the scale in my bank!

Wait til the transfer is done. Rejecting a deal often has little to do with money. And Embolo was not leaving before the end of of this season and the Euros anyways, he is playing as a first team regular for Switzerland thanks to Basel.

B) Most. There's a hell of a lot of money in the prem this season, from top to bottom. Everton splashing £28m on Lukaku and Stoke spending £18m on Imbula shows that big fees are no longer reserved for the Big boys.

FC Basel president Bernhard Heusler has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur have not yet made any move for their star striker Breel Donald Embolo.

Spurs have been linked with a move for the player recently but Heusler insists there is currently no indication that he will be moving to White Hart Lane.

He is quoted as telling Blick:

"I cannot confirm that (Spurs have bid for Embolo). From Tottenham no offer exists, and there is currently no indication that Breel’ s path leads in this direction.

“It is one of many rumors that are currently scattered. "
