Time to turn up. No daftfuckery from anyone today. We know they’re big lumps so let’s outplay them technically and zip the ball around. Lamela, Moura and Eriksen (who looked better against Inter) can open them up. I’d prefer Alli wasn’t rushed back and would like to see Son in the CF role. Our defence needs to be absolutely hungry at set pieces and scrap for everything. We need a big shift from Toby

Alli Lamela

Moura Kane Son
Give Dembele and Eriksen a rest. They need to be more involved when they play. But also rotating players might make them stay hungrier

This is just about the time when Harry confounds his critics and starts banging them in I think he's due a hat trick:)

I looked again at Kane's reaction after rounding their keeper for the chance he had and wonder if there's more to the ankle problem, why after running ball out did he then hop on his left leg as though the right one was giving big probs .

I saw that but concluded Kane had a knock as he passed the keeper...hope I'm right .

I really hope Pochettino has really got stuck into them.

He's done wonders to improve our mentality but for first time I think we've seen snippets of the old mentality returning.

That has to stop here. 3 points are very important to get back on track but it's the collective response I'll be looking for most.

Big teams reapond after defeat they don't lose 3 on the bounce.

Another tepid performance tonight and that would suggest something isn't right behind the scenes.

Hopefully not the case, and we're a determined looking outfit - which we'll need to be to win.

I'm not even nervous about this, I just don't expect much from us after our last few performances. I will say though that we've been through similar short spells in the last two seasons, not from results but from performances such as these that look low on confidence and we've turned it around to look back at our best so really hope we're able to do the same.

The last 3 games I've honestly thought Pochettino has made specific decisions that have largely contributed to our defeat so I really hope he gets it right today.

Wearing our green kit too so lets hope it brings us some luck :D

Be lucky to get a result based on the performances over the course of our last two and a half games.

Be nice to see some direction on the pitch, I won't hold my breath.

I feel Poch will still be as stubborn as keeping to some questionable lineup, and making weird subs. He just waiting for the moment to tell the whole world, "told ya" when he finally wins a game.

It might be to the media, but its really not.
When you look at the garbage they printed during the transfer window,Toby,Rose,Llorente!Dembele all leaving the do appear to have an agenda with a few teams in the hope of causing unrest then throw in the unfinished stadium,Harry's fitness,Hugo's drinking and they have the perfect storm to really hammer us for every thing that goes wrong at the club but I do think there is something not right, looks like the bonding and attitude has certainly changed, just need Carabao cup to be a disaster and they will have another field day, come on Spurs lets see some passion today

Yeah I agree, would be great to have a performance that we can be encouraged by though. I think the Inter result was the worst of the last three solely on the fact that I really don't think they're a good team, or at least weren't on the day but defeats to Watford away and Liverpool at home aren't shameful results. I was personally just infuriated with the way we lost them and what I believed to be some terrible tactical decisions on the occasions.

Despite the recent disappointment, an encouraging performance and win today can completely turn the mood and perception around.

Yeah I cant disagree, the Watford and Liverpool games we deserved fuck all, I thought the Inter game we at least deserved a draw, but it never rains, it pours.

Its frustrating because we all know what this team is capable of, sooner or later some teams gonna be on the end of a real battering....hopefully that's Brighton.

If we don't beat this lot we can lose to anyone..if our performances don't improve on the last few weeks.

Dreading this can see Glenn fucking Murray filling his boots the way our defence has been playing.

Our current malaise, Kane's inability to get going, rumours of players unhappy with wages (@Blackrat1299) all conspire to us witnessing another defeat, add to that Brighton's steady form and Murray playing well means to me that it don't bode well folks!!
