The same people criticising tonight will probably be claiming we are the 2nd best team in the league if we win Saturday
And the "oh well never mind" crew will probably be out in force bleating its all OK if we lose to utd and end up 5th. Probably.
You are behaving like a spoilt child. We are Spurs not RAWK.

Criticise fine. Be disappointed and angry, fine. But mindlessly vent and call players fuckwits and the club legends?

That’s just spoilt shite. Cut it out.
I never once said our players were fuckwits or legends and i ask you to quote me if you think i did. Im sick to death of people like you trying to be the voice of reason when it clearly isn't warranted. Let me ask you this...When IS IT ok to have a right pop at your team?

Another important away point, just need two wins and a draw even if Chelsea win all their games, are we likely to lose more than one of our last four games? I doubt it particularly when we have three home games and our away game is West Brom.

Agree. Believe Chelsea will drop some points as well - can't count on it though.

We will win jackshit if we play like this... We need to extend our winning streak from 13 to 14 games to 19 to 20 games... Thats when we will win something

Why do you care? You want to slag the whole club off and expect failure before it happens.

I want to support the club which has taken such great strides recently and I feel deserve my faith.

You go your way I go mine.

Good luck to you.

And yet more people are seeing what I'm seeing, and your club is shrinking. I want him to play well, but he isn't. And don't talk Stoke, come on...
What do I want?
Why is just 6 assists this season when he should be into double digits? He is too selfish. When the going was good, no one cared. But the going has been getting worryingly worse.
Liverpool - really lucky with the second penalty. He missed sitters both at Palace and Arsenal - real sitters. Stoke is a joke and you know it - a really cringy moment and that could have affected team spirit. Kane bigger than everyone else, etc. Invisible against Juve at home.
We beat Chelsea without him, struggled against Stoke, ineffective against City, and rubbish tonight (overall play).
He is meant to be our inspiration and yet he seems to be very self-focused at the moment. No inspiration and dejected body language.

This is such a weird overreaction to a lack of fitness in a world class player. He could quite conceivably hit 30 league this season ffs.

The fullbacks really don't help either. At least Trippier offers something going forward. I'm becoming more and more frustrated with our moves coming down the left ending with a shit ball from Davies.

Can't remember being more annoyed after a game, just due to the sheer amount of wasteful play.

The league really need to have some standards for the quality of a pitch. I’m convinced Brighton doctored that pitch to stop any flow to our game.

Eriksen is arguably our best player along with Kane.

But I do have a problem with him. These are the games I expect him to step up. If he wants Madrid/Barca they'd expect a player to do just that.
Hard to be critical of Eriksen for me. No matter how good you are you can't turn up for every single game.

Bad games for Eriksen are a real rarity and that shows just how good he is. It's the ones that consistently perform badly that are the worry.

You're fighting a losing battle here i suspect. If you don't like what people say then ignore them?! better still put ME on ignore.

We really do look lost when he has an off game like today.

Again, with the high and mighty I'm a better supporter than you bollocks. All because you won't criticise the way the team played tonight?

How does that make you a good supporter compared to someone who supports the club but wants to be better than a semi final appearance and a 4th place finish?

Sure we've taken huge strides in recent seasons under Poch and expectation has risen massively. It's great that we have come so far but we want to go far and beyond where we are now. Not stand still.

We need three wins and a draw to finish 4th, IF Chelsea win out.

Watford H
West Brom A
Newcastle H
Leicester H

Assuming Chelsea win at Burnley, if we cant win three and draw one from that lot then we certainly do not deserve to get CL footie next season.

Chelsea have:

Burnely A
Swansea A
Liverpool H
Huddersfield H
Newcastle A

Like when he scored a free-kick against Juventus in CL or scored a wonder goal against Chelsea?

Every single Spurs player played under par tonight. I don't see the point in single out Eriksen, especially as he's been utterly world class for us this season and saved our asses more times than I can count.

I'm not singling him out. I have high expectations of him and I think he's our best player.

I'm not saying he hasn't or doesn't win matches for us either. I'm saying I want to see it happen more often.

He's also scored 1 freekick in the last 144 efforts for us. That alone isn't good enough.

You have days like tonight. A lot of our players didn't look at the races. Misplaced passes and too many touches. Even the goal was lucky to an extent. But we didn't lose against a side that actually played very well and that's got to be worth something

So I see some are going zero to 60 on meltdown meter. I'm just disappointed. Felt this was the most winnable fixture left on our list and the team didn't muster up the care to give it a go. A lot like the West Ham match last year. Hope to see a bounce back.

On a positive note :-s

I thought Toby looked decent tonight. Wonder if he's put any doubt in Poch's head for the weekend.

Pretty sure Poch will stick closely to his principles, but Toby is a class act. I still think we're better with him in.
