He has not played well since the injury though.

He took Eriksen's goal nicely, and today got a good poachers goal. He did play better when he dropped back to a #10 role, but still far from the standards we have grown to expect from him.

He's scored at Stoke and again tonight?

I mean what are we expecting here, Soldado on steroids?

Some of the comments here are embarrassing.

Every team has a lethargic performance - it happens to every team.

We have four winnable fixtures and a FA cup semi to look forward to ffs.

Go to bed you pussies

Wasn't Brighton one of em'?

How about let’s wait to see if we beat united before we start having a meltdown. If resting certain players and playing others helps us to the final then it was the right call. If we lose and fuck 4th then let’s start the witch hunt. Nobbers.

Wouldn’t rely on that. Liverpool will no doubt beat Roma a few days earlier and their focus will be on the final. Chelsea will have more to play for than them. If Burnley dont take points from Chelsea on Thursday then I can see them winning all their remaining games. We have to just pick up the 7 points we need then it becomes irrelevant.
Have you watched Roma lately?

I'm disappointed. The perfomance wasn't good enough and we should expect more. And I'm gutted we only got a point.

But I don't think our players are fuckwits, I don't think Kane is savign himself for the World Cup, I still believe we have a very good chance of beating United and even winning the FA Cup (though we will face talented opposition).

And I believe we've had a very good season and our team deserve our faith and support despite this one poor result.

It's that simple really.

I've never called our players fuckwits or abused Kane of any of the players though. Said they played poorly and called a few of them (Aurier and Wanyama last night) rubbish, because they were.

And sorry, but one poor result? Did you not see the performance that we put in on Saturday or the one v Stoke previously? That's three very average performances on the bounce. We need go arrest this issue by the time Saturday at 5pm comes round or we are in trouble. I certainly won't be happy if we lose by playing poorly again.

Once again, I still support the team and the players. But it doesn't mean i have to see everything the club does through lilywhite goggles.

Disappointing result dropping more points second game in a row although I still think we will be alright for fourth but as we all know we are a club that always makes things harder than they need to be.
A lot of poor performances from everyone last night Kane still not back to his best understandably, erikson couldn't pick a pass all night and as for aurier I was quite pleased when he joined but now I wish he had been refused entry into the UK due to his past problems.
He can't take a throw in he is always in the wrong position in fact he reminds me of the Italians during WW2 not sure what side he should be on, he is a poor excuse of a RB which is a shame because we were spoilt last year with rose and walker being in the form they were was a great attacking outlet for us how we miss them.

This game proves we are not better than united or liverpool this season and that's why we will be 4th or 5th at the end of the season

Meanwhile, over on a United forum, after losing 1-0 to WBA at home

It seems knees fly over there too.

Let's see on Saturday eh? And Utd have stank the place out all season as well as losing to the bottom team in the league last weekend. And been bailed out by their keeper numerous times throughout the season.

Poor results happen to all sides. They've just got away with it more than we have.

Still they are ahead of us in the league...

If we are deliberately lulling Man Utd into a false sense of security to hit them with the sucker punch and teasing Chelsea before pulling away again then fine, if not it's high time we bucked our ideas up because it's crunch time !!!

True, but the prize for 2nd is the same as the prize for 4th, CL football. There's not much difference in the prize money these days. Guess who Utds player of the season is going to be? I'd rather be us any day of the week instead of that bore fest they serve up all the time.

Did my eyes deceive me or was the first Eriksen freekick blocked by Murrays arms in front of him whilst he jumped? Isnt that a penalty?

I predicted after the Liverpool game that we wouldn’t get another penalty all season. Looking disappointingly like a good one so far ☹️

He played well once he got a bit more space and support. It was obvious he was isolated in the first half yet people still said he wasn’t playing well, when it wasn’t his fault he wasn’t getting the ball.

He was also double marked by both centrebacks. I really wouldn’t be surprised in one of the home games if we go with 2 up top to try and counter this. Or push Dele further forward like he played last season.

I think i'm either way on Aurier now.

I see the logic in both giving him another season but also cutting our losses too. I'll probably support either decision at this stage but it'd be no use selling him if nobody better can replace him.
KYP can !!!!
