Back up for whom? Lo Celso? Because we have been told throughout the window by most of the ITKs that Lo Celso was not dependant by the outgoing of Eriksen.

So either Eriksen is staying or a replacement is incoming.

If Dybala was the main target why are we not moving on a back up option.

I think Val said that Dybala wasn't part of the plan, he was just a opportunity that arose late on.

It looks like we've got GLC and Eriksen hasn't left so we're where we wanted to be. It's just a shame that Eriksen hasn't signed a new contract.

So i would expect the club to now tell Eriksen he will be staying until January and then revisit moves then?. selling him in the next two weeks would weaken us now that it seems no deal for BF is in the mix. if this is the case and Eriksen stays its a bloody good window....even better if we get him to sign a new Contract.

No. I dont think GLC is off and our focus is on him and BF.....

ValY yesterday.

That insinuates that there's another body coming in. Unless Eriksen is staying.

Bit confused as to what's happened with Fernandes - was he always an alternative to Lo Celso then?

Is Eriksen staying now?

I thought we wanted both...

I hope we get BF now, as unlikely as it sounds. Eriksen is clearly off or uninterested, so right now we've simply replaced him and Dembele.

Haven't we already agreed terms with him and Sporting? There was even ITK suggesting that he would be flying in for a medical today.

I honestly hope we're not being played by the club here by going all in for an incredibly complicated deal with Dybala, that we know we're not getting done, and missing out on a realistic target like BF.

ITK said Eriksen might be staying after all yesterday.

Feels to me that BF was being used as an alternative to GLC

Coutinho and Dybala were there as 'too good to turn down, but only on the right terms'. We couldn't get them, so we didn't

Sporting slapped an enormous price tag on him too and allegedly expected a massive downpayment. Shame, but can understand why we backed off.

I'm less concerned of him coming as I really wanted GLC and Dybala. But now I feel a bit sorry for him. He could have really keen to join us.

My understanding was that it was 2 of Eriksen, Lo Celso and Fernandes. With no move for Eriksen, 3 into 2 doesn’t go.

if he stays until Jan he can sign a pre contract with any non english club.
