Just thought I'd give a Callum update as I often think of all the support we received from this forum.
Callum received his GCSE results last week. The number taken was reduced due to his brain injury, but I'm very proud to say he got :
Maths - A
Science - B
RE - C
ICT - C
English - E (retaking in November)
He's been accepted onto a level 3 course at college, studying sport. ⚽️
That is amazing. You must be so proud. He is an inspiration to us all.Just thought I'd give a Callum update as I often think of all the support we received from this forum.

Hi!
Been a while since I've updated you all on Callum's progress, and as it will soon be 4 years since his accident I thought I'd bring you up to speed.
He's completed a year at college, he's found it challenging at times, but has passed his first year!
However, now that he's 18(!!), he's decided, and we agree with him, that he'd like to start looking for work.
With that in mind he's been volunteering on the ward where he was a patient! Amazing or what! He's looking for an apprenticeship in the NHS, as he knows they will be supportive of his disabilities.
He's still loving his football, and was named players player of the year for his disability football team.
So, all in all, everything is going great!
