He’s effectively 7th choice CB. And that’s not factoring tanganga eyoma lyons- foster. I just can’t see a future for him. I think he will be sold this window or in summer. He will probably have a career in bottom half of PL or championship. You have to compare to Sanchez and it’s s fair comparison age wise. Sanchez is the quality we need and I’m afraid Ccv Just won’t be good enough.

I remember having a very similar opinion to that about Harry Kane once. It's all about his attitude and desire still. I know he's a bit older than Harry was then but a good loan spell somewhere else could change things...

He's the same age as Harry after his Leicester spell

Poch really likes his mindset....just a shame if he can't make the grade from a pace standpoint

I think there will be some brutal decisions regarding our youth in next 2-3 years. We will let a lot better than Ccv go. No doubt some will come back to bite us.

I never understood why we don’t sell with a buy back clause like Real do on all their youth, or at least sell with first right of refusal and/sell on percentage giving us a big advantage if we buy them back.

Are buy-back clauses valid in the UK?

Gone to Ipswich on loan until the end of the season. What a gutter, he was in the Playoff places and drops to mid table.

Be amazed if isn’t sold in summer. Just bumping up price. Being deemed not good enough for a championship club is pretty telling.

So how are Ipswich playing? Edwards move to Norwich looks good as they seem to play football and traditionally Ipswich have been a footballing side ... but I am out of touch so would appreciate from those who know

They are 6 spots, and 4 point behind Sheffield United, and have conceded 8 more goals - so hopefully they are looking for someone to come in and help...

What was the reason for his loan at Sheffield being cut short? This seems a sideways move.

McCarthy was an international defender, so if anyone can get the best out of CCV, hopefully it's him.

They signed another CB on a permanent move and couldn't promise him the game time.

So its not a negative reflection upon him. Ipswich seems a step in the right direction, they are just about to let go of an experienced centre back

Were you saying the same about Harry Kane when he was on loan to Leicester and Norwich?

Agree with that, with his experiemce he'll certainly see his strengths and weaknesses and get a good angle on whether Cameron is likley to make the grade or not.
