Can anybody who booed Adebayor explain why they booed him?

Holtby, Sandro, Soldado.

Actual tangible on-the-pitch results/performances and level of fan affection have little or no correlation. Arguing who people should or shouldnt like based on goals to minutes ratios is therefore pretty irrelevant.

People like who they like and hate who they hate on purely personal and subjective reasons.

He's here, we are going to need him - lets just get on with it. I don't care who scores the goals, as long as they go in.

As long as he wears the shirt he has my support. If he scores a goal I don't want to look like a twat cheering a player I was abusing 5 minutes before.

He's here now and we are paying him top dollar to perform for us. I just think that whatever ones' opinion on Ade may be, like him or loathe him, we need each and every player on board now. Let's get on with the job at hand and we, as supporters, have to do our bit as well..............Support the TEAM, make yourself count, the effort has to take into consideration the team's interest........

The reason people boo Ade is because he,s does,nt look like Soldado, please get over it.

The media don,t like Tottenham so we need to stick together, when we boo our own during game time we look like were not loyal, through thick and thin we have to be one with the board, manager and players. We don,t need to wash our dirty linen in public specially the public that don,t like us.

If you live in a glass house don,t throw stones.

Emmanuel Adebayor apologises to booing Tottenham fans and insists he has no problem with Daniel Levy

It's a shame he's had to come out with that because he only said what we were saying on here at the time about the poor home support. Anyway though, that should draw a line under it. If anyone still has a problem with him after he's said sorry then they'll probably never get over it, support him at the stadium untill the end of the season and he can go leave out the front door with our best wishes.

Good point, even if people feel they have a right to boo Ade they forget that it still makes the rest of us look like ***** too.

I'm absolutely amazed he turned down a loan move to PSG.

Me too, but maybe his heart is in London. There's still a good player there, maybe optimistically, he might just turn it on for rest season. Even if its to secure a move in the summer. Could be win win for us

From what he's said, it seems it was less a matter of turning down PSG than choosing West Ham. Presumably we found out Sullivan and Gold expected us to pay his wages when it was too late to go back to PSG.

IMO he got booed because he's been given a god given talent and opportunity to play for Tottenham, which many of us dreamed about as kids, and he doesnt give a fuck. Every season he needs a 2 week holiday mid season, which to some of us is unacceptable. Me personally I wouldnt boo, but I;m done with him as a player, and hope he leaves ASAP.
