We are not getting a new manager, we are getting a new head coach. There is a difference.

I've read sooo many posts where people are talking about Ramos having a clearout or Ramos bringing in a load of his own players. It isn't going to happen on the kind of scale that a lot of posters seem to think it is simply because the new guy isn't going to be responsible for transfers. Yeah, some heads will roll and we'll see more new faces in January than we may have been expecting but there isn't going to be a major overhaul.

Now, I don't claim to know the ins and outs of how the club's system operates but judging by what's been said in the past and the summer transfer activity it's a case of the head coach saying "I think position X needs strengthening" and the DOF then goes out and fills the gap. For example, Jol says "we need a footballing centre half cos Ledley's knee isn't looking great" so Comolli goes and buys Kaboul.

All of you saying that this is all Comolli's fault for making inexperienced signings need to understand that it is Levy's business plan that ultimately dictates who we buy and for how much.

You are misguided. We are NOT going to pay a coach 6 million a year just to coach the team and not have final opinion transfers and a budget.

It was Commolis job to build for the future. But Ramos will bring his own team in to help with transfers. Mark my words. He is already close to one of Comollis biggest competitors.

We are not paying 6 million a year for 4 hours a day coaching sessions and some press time every week.
