Shearer no, get Alan Hansen to do it he knows everything. He praised Croatia for playing one system and sticking to it, how many times have England been slagged for not having a plan b? TV pundit, fucking easy life. :bang:

He's working for the BBC now anyway. Surely if he were to be a manager at all, he would be working to become one, or probably just be one now.

Why, because he chose not to opt for a move to Man United? He's a legend at Newcastle - the club that he has supported since childhood -he's their all time top goalscorer, not to mention the Premierships. He's represented his country over 50 times, won a title medal and was the Golden Boot winner at Euro 96. 'Lacked ambition', pfft!

Well said, on that basis someone coming to us would also lack ambition? Why should everyone just bend over and crawl to Manusa, the scum, the other scum and pool when they come a calling.

Fair play to him, he chose the club he loves and supports, how can you knock him for that?

As far as England manager goes, surely not a question worth debating, as he's not yet managed at club level.
