IMO Mourinho is trying to get sacked. He knows he doesnt have the team to compete and wants to be paid off.

He stripped pogba for saying they should attack more. Taking a dig at joses tactics. Said after the game he knew his team was in trouble if jones and bailey were forced to take pens.

That on top off slagging off rashford and martial. The pressure is getting to him. He was meant to turn utd in to a force again but he has flopped.

Be pointless to sack him now , couldn't imagine they'd do that unless it goes full Chelsea with relegation looking possible

He will be gone by Christmas.
One trophy opportunity already gone, and we're still in September.
He's also pretty much lost the dressing room, and is fast losing the supporters.

He's only really lost Pogba, the majority of players still respect him but they look fed up playing his style of football. Martial and Rashford look dissalusioned though.

Reckon they need a new voice in the dressing room, happened to us under Sherwood and Arsenal under Wenger, general apathy with the players and a few of them lacking direction.

He's lost Bailly as well and Jones won't be happy with last night's post-match comments.
Sanchez clearly isn't happy, and the likes of Lingaard & Rashford aren't happy to be bit-part/bench players.

Lost the dressing room implies that no one wants to play for him, for example his last few weeks of Chelsea in 2015, pretty much everyone bar Willian and Matic 'downed tools' and clearly couldn't be asked to put in a shift.

He's still getting performance out of Martial and Pogba funnily enough and no one is dragging their feet, but the difference is that they aren't really playing to a discernable pattern.

From the Birmingham Mail ..

When is the fourth round draw?
The Carabao Cup Round Four draw will take place live on Quest on the EFL’s highlights programme at 9pm on Saturday, 29 September.

The scheduled programme will be extended by a further 15 minutes to accommodate the draw.

Quest is a free to air channel that broadcasts extensive highlights of the EFL every Saturday as well as all mid-week matches and selected Carabao Cup fixtures.

The Round Four draw, hosted by Colin Murray, will decide the ties for the last 16 of the competition

Blimey, West Ham 8? Hopefully a six month goal drought to follow.

Liverpool losing.

I think they need to change this competition. If you qualify for Europe then you don't play in the League Cup. A smaller team can win it and then they can either have European football or a cash prize. If they take the cash prize (i.e a team from the Championship wins it but doesn't want Europe) then the European place goes to the 7th place (or however it works out) team in the Prem. It'll give the top Prem sides a chance to focus on league, CL, Europe etc, and it will give smaller teams a chance to win a trophy, get into Europe, or gain extra cash for their club setup.

Even with VAR Klippety Klopp still blames the ref. You can't fight insanity.

"I think the first goal is offside. Three players are offside - two for sure. They watched it and didn't think it was offside. We have to take it.
