Man City v Fulham last night : Official Attendance 35,271

I have to say that the reigning league champions and carabao cup holders had a poor attendance.

If it was us there would be pelters from the press and they would say Poch would be justified in leaving.

Leicester have just beaten Southampton 6-5 on penalties.

I didn't even know the match was on.

Ah well they get to play Man City in the next round.

Is it too much to ask for Leicester City , Burton Albion, AFC Bournemouth and us to all win ?

If the other three win you just know the Goons will sneak a lucky injury time winner with a deflection off Aubameyang's cock or hand.

Why the fuck are Leicester fielding a weakened team in the only competition they have a realistic chance of winning? Why even bother turning up, if you're resigned to getting turned over by City?

Especially when chances are, city would be fielding a weakened team

I've skipped the first half, thinking I will watch the second. Now that City are running at 73% possession and a goal to the good I dont think I'll bother.

If arsenal beat us tomorrow night they’ll get burton in the semi final. If we get through, we will and then have to face city in the final as a damp squib

Not only that it's their best chance of a trophy, but they're not in anything remotely like relegation danger either. They could've tried to make this a memorable season, instead they'll lose tonight, probably sack off the FA Cup as well and just coast into forgettable safe mid-table in the league. Mental decision.

I'd understand Fulham or Southampton prioritising survival and sending out a weaker side. I don't understand Leicester doing so.
