Won't be an easy game, Barnsley will be super up for this and will smell blood if our team is too weak. Rose probably won't be back so maybe KWP will be left back

Can we just call it the League Cup? Never understood why fans would refer to the sponsor names and this season's one is ridiculous.

Taking the missus to this one. I imagine it will be shit with the away fans making all the noise and our end being full of tourists. Shame as I love night games.

Good on you for being brave enough to do that.

Guess 'Lars and the real girl' really helped you.

Would imagine Vorm, Aurier, Winks, Llorente, Son, NK, Sissoko would all play
should be plenty strong

Just had a look and still no general sale tickets with less than a week to go, bit annoying considering there must be plenty of free seats. Nice and cheap though at least.

It's another dopey move by the club. Tickets don't go on general sale until tomorrow (yes, 5 days before the game...) and currently almost every block apart from corporate and away end is green.

I'm waiting til tomorrow to get mine as I want to get 6 tickets for family, and to be honest I don't anticipate having a problem...

Cheers - strange stuff. Looking forward to taking the family to the new Wembley as none of them have been yet - even though I have warned them it is actually shite.

Yeah what's that about - I wanted to buy a ticket for the girlfriend but have to wait until tomorrow?

Same here - was going to take her, she agreed, but has just text me saying she's off to Norway next week now - that's a long way to go to avoid having to watch Spurs at Wembley!

This competition is our best route to a trophy. Hope we take it seriously and get a generous run to the final!
Cup comps are based on luck and circumstance, if we have an easy route like 2015 and get to the semi's or final I'd expext to play a stronger team, if it interferes with an important league or CL match we will need to rest players, either way although it would be nice to win we shouldn't be bothered if we are knocked out if it causes a distraction.

Hopefully this game is somewhere on telly. Good chance for everyone who isnt involved in the first XI to shine.
Expect something like this:

Vorm - Trippier, Davinson, Vertonghen, KWP - Wanyama/ Dier, Winks - Sissoko, Son, Dele - Llorente
Subs: Gazzaniga, Foyth, Davies, TOB, Edwards, Eriksen, Kane

Don't expect Edwards to start, but hopefully he gets 30+ minutes.

After his performance in the youth game, he should get more than 30 minutes. A start would be the best way for us to see how he fares against bigger players. Plus this could be his breakout game that makes him a viable option for Poch to call on in the league.

Went on sale at 1pm today, and absolute shit load of tickets available, which is no surprise.
I plumped for block 101.
I've almost always sat behind a goal, so going for side is a new one for me.

Managed to snap up 4 tickets before they sold out... :bored:

Hopefully someone has a Mason vs. Forest moment. Would be lovely for another one of our youngsters to make the step up.

The attendance v Gillingham last year was about 26,000. At a guess, half of those were probably ST holders ( or their nominated seat warmers) who went because it was included as part of the annual package. It will be interesting to see if last year's attendance will be exceeded. At the moment, my money is firmly on NOT.
