If this is the future of football..... Last night's match was way more entertaining.

Morata really is starting to look like how Torres did at Chelsea, just the same aura about him.

This Chelsea team doesn't scare me at all, we should be looking to overtake them.

Just doesn't work as easy as that though. I think when all teams are at their best we're the second best in the league but there are variables that alter the way things are. For instance even if we are better, we will probably drop more points at home than they will with our struggles to break teams down at Wembley.

This cup needs to drop the two legged semi. The rest of the competition is a single leg. There's no reason to add an extra match to an already packed four week period.

Glad I now only pay for Premier League on Sky, watch BT games online (piggy backing on my dads subscription lol) so missed the whole thing ;)

I didn't know that was an option. It must be different here in Ireland. I get all the games if Sky have them.

Always had a thing for him; wanted him to come here. He started well there, but has completely tailed off and looks lost and has no confidence.
I still do and wish he had come here. But I think of him as a facilitative striker and not a goalscoring one. Hence, he would have been great as a number 2 but ultimately underwhelming in the role Chelsea need him for which is to bang in the goals.

He's got it in him and seemed to be on his way to realising his potential. Maybe he'll recover from this dip. Still his first season tbf.

Just watched highlight of Haribo cup. Only saw 2nd half but Chelsea battered them from what I saw. Chelsea really miss having a battering ram up front.

He does seem a decent and thoughtful bloke (too good for that lot) but surely we don't want to see too great an uptick in form. I just never thought he had the finishing ability and he still seems to lack it. He seemed 1 dimensional at RM but rounded his game off nicely at Juve.

They absolutely do. If they could meld the best qualities of Morata and Batshuayi they would have what they need...or not have sold Costa.

Shit game but I thought VAR was a great success personally, will go a long way to fixing the incompetence of officials in this league.
