The depressing thing is that we're probably top of all the other fans' lists..

True.

Maybe the purpose of our season so far has been to lull our quarter final opponents in the Carling Cup into a false sense of security..

Chelsea or Arsenal now, less pressure in the QF rather than the latter stages. We'd end up meeting them at some stage, lets do it now!

Would rather meet them now rather than in 2 leg stage. On the other hand, if we met them later we may be playing better due to the players returning from illness and Ramos having more of an influence.

Anyone at home though PLEASE!!!!!!!!!.

i think a home draw is the order of the day.

In order of preference
west ham
everton
man city
arsenal reserves
blackburn
liverpool 1st/2nd team
chelsea 1st/2nd team

apart from man utd the last 8 couldn't have been any stronger IMO

Is this all genuine optimism....or are people trying to convince themselves?

Neither convinced or optimistic...Blackburn(a) e/t loss

ar*se

wenger will probably field eleven 13 yr olds, it will be tough but can mark the revival of our season if we paste them at the lane.

I'd prefer Everton at home but if we do get one of the big 3 then I would have to go Chelsea at home.

Regardless who we get it's going to be tough.

Zero confidence in Ramos already?

No, but Ramos can't change much until January when the transfer market opens, till then i feel we will improve - but not enough to be confident about going to Man City etc away and winning.

Also have you seen our away record recently? :bang:
