We are clearly going to sign him. What with our track record of signing expensive over 28 year olds with little sell on fee having gone so well of late.

That (sarcastically) said, Pochettino may see him as a secret piece of experience in our jigsaw... and you never know with an Argentinian connection it's not impossible... just quite unlikely. I think had we made the "Top4", it may have seemed a viable option for him as a European option.

If Joorabchian still wants to squeeze big cash out of Tevez - and filthy lucre is his MO - and Tevez still wants to get paid top dollar, I don't know how Boca could afford him.

Unless there's some sort of insane sponsorship deal.
