When he signed for Ars**** a few seasons back he was regarded (well only by the gooners I know) as one of the hottest prospects on the scene. After having trouble with his work permit over the last few seasons he was loaned out to a few clubs.

Now he's been given a work permit and is officially a scum player. He's 19 and Mexican (kind of similar to Dos Santos) but is officially a striker. Wenger's commented on him saying he's an Eduardo type player and has also said he'll definately be in the first team next season.

Now apart from that I know nothing about the kid and would just like to know if anyone actually does know anything and how big of a player could he be. I'm looking forward to seeing him and especially look forward to making comparisons with him and Dos Santos.

He'll definitely be in the first team next season like Walcott has been since he joined.

Vela's a **** for what he said about Gio's transfer to us, hoping he would do well and be able to move to a better club.

Vela has a lot of potential. I think he tends to look better for Mexico because of the work Gio does to get him the ball. That being said, he will definitely get similar service at Arsenal. But I expect that he will have a harder time adapting to the prem than Two Saints. Two Saints lower center of gravity will aid him in the physicality. Vela is a beanpole and will be roughed up at first.
