Yes Bale casts a big shadow over THFC. CHadli and others need to step up and make the best efforts they can, and thereby perform and score goals. That is the way to lay to rest the "ghost" of Gareth Bale.

On another "ghostly" point.. It was good to see Jurgen at THFC... I can see Bale retuning to us, as he did, which will give a boost to all of us at THFC. As he did say he is open to make a return.. just going to be a a few years yet...

I think of all the people on the team Chadli and Kane are the ones who can actually try and exorcise that particular demon. They not only talk the talk, but walk the walk too. Chadli is one of my favourites this year, for sure. One of two - Kane being the other. No one else has really stepped up to be counted this year. Mason is knocking though.

That is what i have said before on here. Every game we have had 3 players performing to 50% and the rest to 75% (100% Lloris excepted) so no team can carry this problem and win games.

I'm reminded not so much of the talent and athleticism but of the great attitude the boy had and no doubt still has. Hard work and self belief in abundance.

I do wonder whether we got rid of Siggy instead of Eriksen, because he was not a Baldini buy.

I wish we had the ghost of Bale on the pitch. He would perform better than some of our current players
