I see they got their league match moved to Friday night so will have an extra days rest.
Not ideal. Have to probably rotate after the NLD.
Didn’t rotate the last two games and got 4 points out of 6 against known bogey teams of the past. Our fitness levels are up there. We’ll be fine.

Alan Shearer speaking to The Sun:

“There are moments in a club’s history when the nettle needs to be grasped. When an opportunity so significant presents itself that it simply cannot be ignored.

“When heads and hearts need to work in tandem because of the sheer enormity of the pressure placed on players by the chance, the big chance.

“Leicester gave their fans a season they will never forget with the biggest shock title win in football history two years ago.

“When their chance came, they did not let it go. On a more gloomy note, you can look at my own club Newcastle and the ramifications of its failure to turn a 12-point lead into a title triumph back in 1995-96.

“It is a story that will be analysed and retold until a title is lifted at St James Park. It will be some wait.

All clubs have these incredible moments where opportunity knocks and I would argue that Spurs have a major one right now in the final three months of this season with the Champions League and FA Cup.
“The chance to walk into their fabulous new stadium with a trophy held aloft, maybe even club football’s biggest one of all.

“The chance to prove to players it is not all just about the big bucks in the bank but medals on the sideboard, memories that cannot be bought.

“A chance to keep this brilliant young team together and improve it. Another second place in the Premier League will be a notable achievement but they need a trophy.

“They haven’t lifted one for ten years and now have possibly their best side in half a century. When you have that, you need to make the most of it.

“Not just in the FA Cup but the biggest club competition of them all.

“This is Spurs’ opportunity but can they take it?”

I think we'll give it a go.

We won't be parking the bus that's for sure.

We won't be parking the bus that's for sure.

Think if we get City or Barca, before the final, we will park the bus away.

Difference is, we will spring like gazelles on the counter, eventually our superior fitness will bring us back into the game technically, instead of choking like Chelsea yesterday.
