How the fuck are Liverpool winning this game.

Good little side Hoffenheim, well coached, play a good brand of football, play out from back to front but do it with tempo and zip.

Better side by far first half.

Better side technically yes but look a bit blunt. Liverpool look like they can pick them off if they want with Salah and Mane.

Think the Hoff will need an early goal or the tie will be over.

Nice to see an unbiased panel on BT Sport for this one.

While I would piss myself laughing if they went out, surely a Liverpool side without European commitments would be far more dangerous in the league. I'm torn, do I want them to go out for the lols or stay in and watch them having to cope with 2 important games a week?

They would have Europa either way.

The more turmoil in the top clubs the better. Hope they give up 3 in the 2nd half.

Just haven't got any bite up front. They haven't quite looked as lively since that penalty stunk the place out either

Don't think much of the Hoff's striker Wagner. Seems to be spending most of his time getting in everyone else's way.

Hoffenheim showing the down side of being a 'possession' team only.

If you don't have the cutting edge then a good team will embarrass you eventually.

To be fair they lost because they missed a pen, Liverpool scored a free kick and a fluke, and the game could have been a lot different if they'd got the opening goal and maybe could have played a more pragmatic game sitting on a lead?

I think it was reasonably brave, and you could say tactically dubious, as Liverpool have form for struggling against bus park breakers, but it was a tactic that had it's merits, and maybe they figured they don't have the players to effectively "break" and that Liverpool's defence was their Achilles heel and to try and pile some pressure on it was their best bet at home.

I've got the Celtic match live on Rte2 land telly here in ROI.

Not sure if that's good or not. Maybe the second half.

I've liked the look of Ntcham fro Celtic in the little I've seen of him.

Great decision by the linesman. Thought he was off watching it live.

Not sure I agree with not stopping the play after a bad clash of heads.

Some of the tackling is straight out of Sunday morning league football.

Plus Scott Sinclair looks like a honey badger crossed with a packet of Polo mints.

I watched Napoli vs Nice. Decent game, Napoli very good.. but then the ref sent two Nice players off in a minute. One for a bad tackle, straight red, and the other a second yellow for dissent while disputing it. I wasn't convinced it was a red card tackle but there we go. Heavy handed ref.

So at this half way point where are we in the seeding?
At this stage all I want is Celtic, and being in pot 2.
