Just realised the date of the final. I'm at my missus' uncles house in Wales that weekend. He's a massive Liverpool fan, and I've never watched a Pool game with him that they haven't won. He even jokes I'm a lucky charm.

They're going to win it. :(

If Liverpool beat Roma, which they probably will i can see them beating whoever gets in the final, they are cocky enough to win it... fuck sake.

salah against his old club. I do not know much about roma these days but there surely isn't much difference to them and liverpool.

LOL. Liverpool get Roma. What a surprise.

They have a great chance of winning the CL this year, sadly. I could easily see them beating Real or Bayern in a one off game in the final.

Goodness me, better turn off the internet all summer. The Liverpool love-in is going to be horrendous.

all our hopes rest now on Madrid or Munich to utterly thrash them in the final, totally thrashed in the way arsenal get thrashed in the CL

but like Arsenal and the Europa ive made peace with the terrible truth that this season will end with Liverpool and arse winning major European trophies.

I can only hope that im not too fussed because we win the FA cup

Despite the impressive come back against Barca they aren't having the best season. They are fourth but really not looking to hot. If they beat Liverpool i will be very surprised.

wind up Liverpool fans by say what sure when your luck is in, its like Wigan beating City, and when Liverpool won 2005, it doesn't mean those sides are world beaters.

Just overheard one Liverpool fan at my work say, "That means we're going to get to the final. We'll beat Roma". The arrogant prick. Really hope Roma knock them out. Having topped a group with Atletico and Chelsea, and knocked out Barcelona, they're more deserving of their spot in the last 4 than the other 3. Good luck to them.

Sometimes your name is on the cup. From a Roma perspective I suspect they are also really happy with the draw.

I think this will be Liverpool’s year again in the UCL
They’ve played well but also had the luck of the draw
I think they’re better than Roma and will win then it’s about who turns up on the day
One hopes their exertions in the CL will mean they take their eye off the EPL to allow us to leapfrog them into 3rd

lol at the reaction in here, Roma's put away some good teams in the CL, they're not going to be pushovers.

I don't think they will be either. Only thing I mean is that if someone offered you Roma, in the semi-finals of the Champions League, you'd bite their hand off.

Roma being the underdogs here may very well suit them. If Roma can be very smart defensively and not give Liverpool any real advantage at Anfield then they could do it. They haven't played a team who are defensively strong in the competition yet so I'm clinging on to that hope.
