There's a Lazio forum (and other Serie A rivals of Roma) where they're saying "of course Roma get the easy draw in the semis by avoiding Bayern and Real".

Just realised the date of the final. I'm at my missus' uncles house in Wales that weekend. He's a massive Liverpool fan, and I've never watched a Pool game with him that they haven't won. He even jokes I'm a lucky charm.

They're going to win it. :(

I don’t think we should be overly bothered about what other clubs are doing. We need to win stuff ourselves, not rely on our rivals getting bad luck.

people are under estimating the teams liverpool will face if they reach the final. Real madrid and ronaldo will be very tough , lets hope its real in the final, bayern are bottle jobs.

all our hopes rest now on Madrid or Munich to utterly thrash them in the final, totally thrashed in the way arsenal get thrashed in the CL

but like Arsenal and the Europa ive made peace with the terrible truth that this season will end with Liverpool and arse winning major European trophies.

I can only hope that im not too fussed because we win the FA cup

Yet whenever we get knocked out most this forum rolling out the small time "we would never win it anyways" line.

Real Madrid winning it would be nice because at least then we can say we beat the winners!

Worst Case Scenario.

Liverpool win CL.
Arsenal win Europa.
Man U or Chelsea win FA cup.
Man City already have league and League cup won.

We win 4th place best runner up.

Finish 3rd, win FA Cup and Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U win fk all would be a much better outcome :).

Got a bad feeling though. Everything just seems to be heading towards the wcs.

Wouldnt be a disastrous season but itd bloody feel like it.

Likely to be fake for two reasons:
a) Date on the third line is 2005
b) Why would they refer to themselves as Roma for the Genoa game, but AS Roma for the Liverpool game??

Actually, regarding the date, a quick Google translate actually suggests nothing wrong with the date, as that relates to a law passed in Italy on that date:
"as envisaged by the Internal Ministerial Decree dated 6 June 2005 and necessary by AS Roma to establish the indentity of users of access rights (season tickets / tickets);"

For me this is the perfect team to play Liverpool. They will be much more pragmatic this time around. Sit back at anfield and crush them in Rome. Both Real and Bayern like open football. Roma will keep it tight. And since fazio managed to stop Messi, i reckon he'll be just fine against salah

Liverpool are already in the final. Roma have nothing. It was a fluke that game against Barcelona

Although roma will put up a fight in rome, I feel they will get blown away at anfield. I can't stand the thought of those wankers winning the CL.

Glad Liverpool avoided Madrid as we showed that RM could be taken apart by a team with high energy allied to attacking football. Right now they are getting through by the skin of their teeth and it is no accident that they are fourth in the Spanish league.

Totally different animal in the CL though, they switch modes in the CL and turn up.

Were torn apart by us and against Juve looked like boys against men. I think they are ageing and have great players who are now just past their peak. Ronaldo of course does remain a huge threat and on their day they do have quality players who can still perform. So I guess the knockout stages suit them better only having to peak occasionally but having the experience to perhaps pull it off. I think though that they are far from the best side in Europe

They were missing Sergio Ramos who's very very important for their defence. Not only he's their best defender, but the player who organizes that defense. That, couple with Navas' mistakes, was the reason Juventus scored 3 goals.

In the group stages they are different to the knockouts, also they were missing Ramos against Juve who practically epitomises them as a team. Have a look at their record over the last few years in the CL and in the manor they've won it, they just know how to win, their experience is key.

They may not be the best side or footballing side on paper but they are favourites for a reason and that's because of their elite mentality and experience.

The key is keeping them quiet in the first twenty minutes at Anfield.

Had Salah’s offside goal against City been correctly ruled out, chances are they would have been knocked out in the last round.

As exptected. Hope to see Roma vs Real Madrid in the final of CL
If Liverpool go through I want them to play Real in the final, because Real always find a way to win it. If Liverpool and Bayern meet in the final I fully expect a 2012 style shafting once again.

But if Roma were to win I'd be cheering on Bayern all day and twice on Sundays against Real. The only time I don't want Real to lose is against the other English sides.
