Well at least Roma showed a glimpse of what they can do going forward at the end there and Liverpool won't look any bit as fluent in the 2nd leg away from Anfield as they did tonight. Problem is one goal from Liverpool and it's definitely over and they're capable of it but it won't be easy. Will be interesting at least.

Against Real it could end up very messy. Imagine Real getting an early goal? Ronaldo will run them ragged.

I'd be more worried about what Liverpool could do Madrid's defence after seeing how they capitulated against Juve.

I think Bayern will give them much more of a game.

Starting to think the key against Liverpool is to be pragmatic until the last 20 minutes where they seem to tire and lose concentration quite regularly.

Liverpool are going to win the CL stop kidding yourselves. Arsenal will probably win the EL as well because "fuck you Tottenham" - football god's, 1991-2018.

They were missing Ramos to be fair, no way they're that weak with Ramos playing.

5-0 up... Cruising to the finals. Now at 5-2...there might be a little crack that might happen.

Roma is crazy playing both full backs so high up. It was a 3-5-2 vs 4-3-3 making it man for man in defense. Took them so long to swap to a back 4. Not sure what the manager was thinking.

I think Liverpool will still go through. But they made it that much more uncomfortable.

Perfect example of why if at all possible you don't sell your best players, as if it wasn't bad enough watching your 42 million euros ex player go on to be one of the best in the world with value quadruple or more, the very same guy is probably the one that has changed you from being great chance 1st ever winners of the Champions league to semi final losers, Roma fans must feel sick, possibly the worst deal they ever done...

Hopefully Roma create a very intense atmosphere. They'll certainly believe that they can do it after they did it to Barca and they're going into the game with momentum (a bit like how we did when we played Inter after Bale scored a consolation hat trick). These things can have an effect.

Having said that, it is a very very tall ask now. Hopefully Salah will stub his toe on a chair leg and have to sit out a game - I don't want to wish a bad injury so something minor sounds fair :)
