I know Kroos has a divine passing technique and ability but he isn't half slow sometimes.

I know Liverpool have lost their main man but this final is turning into a limp squid. I thought it was going to be an attacking masterclass tonight.

I'm delighted it's not to be honest, as I think if it were Liverpool would come out on top for sure. But maybe you're one who doesn't mind so much about the outcome :)

I find it astonishing that one player can change the game that much... Liverpool just not pressing anymore
They are pressing, its just Madrid have stepped up, playing much higher up because they are no longer scared of Salah's pace.

This is a World Cup referee who will have been training to keep his flag down in that situation for VAR purposes. He very well could have been flagging Ronaldo offside, but kept this flag down that extra second. We will probably never know.
Maybe, but he would have been incredibly late if he was flagging for Ronaldo. He was late enough for Benzema.

I'm not watching it as I'm out, but the video doesn't look at bad as the reaction on here. Ramos is a dirty player, but he'd be doing well to have done this intentionally imo

At one time he was our best attacking player as well. Think his inclusion has more to do with Liverpool’s lack of depth than anything else.

Yeah, he was a nailed on starter for us before his injuries. Gutted he'll miss out, but he's barely figured this season.

Real just seem so slow in the final 3rd. Just need to up the pace or play a quicker ball and they will be in for a few more chances.

Modric is still the best midfielder in the world.

And Croatia - in him, Rakitic, Kovacic, Brozovic, and Badelj - arguably have the best midfield options at the WC, perhaps only after Spain.

That's not late in the VAR world. ARs are now being training to do exactly what he did if a scoring chance appears imminent. Put the flag up after the scoring chance happens -- even if it's really late.

Good old Raj. You can always rely on him for spot on, up to date and professional analysis.

Amazing how much the overall quality of Liverpool drop when Salah is off

Bit like us with eriksen, except we just forget how to attack. We don't forget how to press, retain possession or defend

Ramos is such a dirty player. I hate Liverpool but to keep an hold of Sahlas arm there is discraceful. I hope someone breaks Ramos leg.
