It's annoying because people say they keep winning the CL because of experience but that doesn't really explain anything. They often cheat, play dirty, get help from the ref, and get supremely lucky. Those factors in addition to their admittedly very good team is why they've won it 3 times in a row.

Of course its not just down to experience, but experience plays a part even if small. That cheating and playing dirty that they do at certain times for instance can in some cases go down to experience, as wrong as it may seem in a footballing sense.

Whichever way you look at it though, I can't personally downplay the winning of 3 champions league trophies in a row, regardless of how they did it.

I've had a rotten day (abscess on tooth) Funny when Bale's first goal went in it stopped hurting, I'll have to watch it on a loop and I might get some sleep tonight.

I actually like Ramos. Sorry, guys.

And Gerrard getting the Rangers job means we won't have to put up with his punditry when watching BT.
I can’t say I like Ramos, but I sure as hell respect him. He’s a pure cutthroat killer. When he retires they should just put him in The Expendables.

Right-ho Gareth. What else is there to win? Oh, that’s right. The Prem. Come and help us win it ?

Im surprised at how poor Liverpool were, they actually made RM look like a cohesive team.

Real look like the most disjointed top side I’ve ever seen. No real approach etc
Strange side. It’s definitely the most comfortable I’ve seen them in the champs league since their 3-0 at Juve

I remember being quite warmly pleased when united won in 99 and when Liverpool won in 2005. But now I only want the other English teams to lose badly. Not sure why I've become so uncharitable. Maybe I spend too much time on here...

Totally delighted that they lost and bales part in it was magical ,arguably one of the greatest goals of all time but what tops it for me is I had 3-1 Madrid so I'm £75 richer ,happy days .

I think early on the Liverpool press made them uncomfortable but the combination of Salah going off and the fact you just can’t press for that long when your body is coursing so much adrenaline, meant it was always going to be a short burst.

I think it’s no coincidence that Klopp loses finals. It’s just difficult to play the way he wants them to with that much nervous energy draining the legs.

Agree. I don't know how you would categorize their style of football. Maybe it's all about improvisation. They don't look like a well-drilled side.
