After being reminded that we were the only team that beat Real Madrid in CL this year, I just went and watched it. We were really good that night. A hell of a performance. Madrid werent at it whatsoever that night but we played very well. I will say that I dont believe it was the best we played this season but it was certainly up there. The importance of it though cannot be overstated. That was the night we announced ourselves to the world.

Hmmm if its a confirmed dislocated shoulder i honestly dont understand why he didnt patch it up and played on. I know it hurts but ive done it. It fucking sucks but u can still play through it. Unless its a broken leg where u cant put any weight onto it i can understand. But a dislocated shoulder? Cmon. Do u think someone like roy keane would leave the CL finals because of a dislocated shoulder? I mean i am not saying salah is wrong. But some players have played through worse. I wished he soldier-ed on

Something strange happened last night

The football match i was watching suddenly morphed into some shit trojan horse movie with a dodgy pony tailed blonde embarassing himself as the main actor

Real are my second team - not something I often mention through fear of accusations of being a plastic. So this win is super sweet for me. Maintaining the crown. Subjecting the Liverpudlian victims to weeks of crying. And an ex Likywhite scoring the winning goals. Perfect.

One thing I noticed from this game. Ronaldo has lost a lot of his ability and pace. Wasn't in the game at all.

He's pretty much solely a goalscorer these days and he needs to be primed into form like an olympic athlete, peaking at the right time each season. He can't do it all year anymore.

He's said he feels like a 23 year old and that he wants to play at a high level until he's 40 but I just don't see it happening.

Thunderstorms last night knocked out my power while it was still 0-0. I went to bed at like 11 when my torch ran out of batteries. Only just found out the score.

Seeing bale sink liverpool must have been pretty sweet.

I wonder when the memorial service will be ?

Hopefully every time the media mentions Klopp from now on, as they very very often do, instead of the usual, "Klopp, who is the greatest manager in history of football", we'll get, "Klopp, the flop, who has an amazing track record of failure at the last hurdle". But not likely.

Carragher used to be my favourite Liverpool player, since he was always such a potent goal threat for us, but I think Karius has edged him now.

I was watching the game in a bar with five mates, two of whom are scousers - one Liverpool and one Everton. Needless to say the three of us Spurs and the Everton lad were absolutely cruel. Fuck him. He gave it out large on the 2 pens at Anfield and kept sending me these fucking tweets and texts when Harry was trying to claim 'the' goal. Plus he was adamant they would finish above us. I've never seen a grown man cry before :D #thatswhatfriendsarefor

They will let bale leave even if ronaldo goes. They need to fund the neymar deal.

Bids will start flying in at around 70m plus for bale which automatically puts us out of the race.
