The last time we played there. Being attacked by nf. Pubs shut at 00:00. Stadium was a shithole. Searched on the way in and having to show our passports or be turned away.

Old town was nice. But done that.

Would prefer somewhere new.
We were in the home end and the stewards couldn't care less. I got hit with a plastic bottle when Moose scored but nothing else. The Danish Bar was open until about 4 I seem to remember but I agree I would prefer somewhere different.

You missed out Ajax who would be in Pot 3 ahead of CSKA Moscow if they qualify via the playoffs.

Pots 2 and 3 both have alot of dangerous sides, don't think the move up to pot 2 is overly important.

Definitely nice to get another over the scousers though, lol

Liverpool Vs Celtic would be horrendous media wise never hear end of it. With Liverpool supporters pretending to admire Celtic FC while throwing bottles at their coach ?

To be fair he had a great champions league campaign before that. Particular highlight for me was the one on one save vs fc twente that was epic.
I loved Gomes, but also got sent off very early on at the San Siro and as a result missed the second Inter match at WHL.

Next season prize money going up almost 50% Reported in all the papers. If we do as well as last year we are looking at approx 70m. They have concocted a payment for historical success which means the Milan clubs do ok. Payments also made regarding the 10 year coefficient. Bottom to top goes up approx 1m each position. We are 25 in the 10 year table but will move up a few positions due to clubs above us not getting into last 32. Just a carve up for the big clubs...at least we are in it. Shows how important it is to be there.

70 million to play 10 matches. You fund the salary of your best 11 players with CL alone. :wideyed:

No doubt. No doubt. Our three in a row CL campaigns are bigger for the club than 1 FA trophy.

hopefully we can remember to post this on the day we play an under strength side in the CoC (or whatever it's called now days).

the thing is with the new stadium, a very good chance we will have a sell out, and unfortunately for the fans, the ticket prices won't match what a Europa League match will do, which I also doubt we would get a sell out for unless we progressed to the later stages (which even that would be a doubt Basel QF? was there and plenty of empty seats)

just had a look at our fixtures that will be either side of CL matches, and god they aren't very kind (will update once draw/fixtures are announced).

yes we all know we are a very good team, but to compete in the 2 most important comps, and remember in our 1st 13 fixtures of the PL, we will effectively will be playing 8 away matches, 1 neutral (even if it was home last season), and 3 of our 1st 4 matches at the NWHL are against top 5 teams from last season, and 3 London derbies.

Now hoping we don't get the toughest of draws in the group, if we are to progress, and hope injuries are not an issue

So with the new stadium not being ready until end October and 3 CL group stage games taking place before then does that mean we have to now play all our CL home games at Wembley or can u switch stadium.
