We really deserve it. It has been a very tough year and we have found a way. It is a huge achievement for our club.

The last 6 weeks have been very tough and it must have been incredibly difficult for our young squad to deal with.

When you look at the final of the champions league we have beaten both teams comfortably and in 4 meetings remained unbeaten. We have come up just short at the crucial moments yet despite all that has gone wrong, we have managed to qualify again and all of this playing at Wembley.

Im very proud of our team.

Great achievement- let’s not forget the financial handicap we continue to have compare to the others in the top six plus a year away at Wembley!!

Credit to the club that just as we’ve hit bad form we’ve grinded the wins to get across the line.

Not pretty but shows how far we’ve come.

No one should underestimate what an achievement this is, especially going a whole season without playing at home.

I’m so happy! And relieved! Been to 40 games this season, seen great performances but so anxious we were going to waste all that hard work.
Now I can enjoy the summer and look forward to the Champions League in our new ground. Wow!

I think being a consistent side to play CL for three consecutive seasons speaks volume of this club.

Still alot to improve, but no mean feat to this achievement. Especially when one takes into context Arsenal are out of the competition for two seasons in a row.

Well done.

Looks like you're correct. Spurs sit 19th and as it stands Arsenal, Chelsea, and Zenit will not be in the CL next year. Obviously Chelsea can still make it, but if they don't, it will be Spurs or Liverpool getting the past spot in pot 2.

Current Pot 2 - Dortmund, Porto, Man United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Benfica, Napoli, Basel, and Spurs.

Huge result getting back in again. Absolutely massive for our club to be going into the new stadium with CL in the bag.

As @Trix said it effects everything - exciting summer ahead I hope!

Can anyone else fast forward to next seasons FA Cup semi-final and see the press saying ‘Spurs unfair advantage after playing at Wembley for a year’??

Well sod em! Hopefully we’ll get a nice quote from one of the lads like ‘it’ll be nice to head back to Wembley, we started to feel quite comfortable there’ and then we’ll go on to win the Cup vs Arsenal, Levy will throw wads of £50 notes down on us all, Messi will ask to come to us, and Jennifer Lawrence will ask me to make a new dirty Home made video with her. Yeah????!!! COYS!!!

If Sporting win this weekend, they’ll finish above Benfica in Portugal (on head to head) and we’ll be Pot 2 without having to rely on Madrid.

Similar situation with the Swiss league, but not sure what has to happen there.

Who cares, though.

Thanks, also found this on Wikipedia to backup claim despite the league table showing Benfica ahead of Sporting currently.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_Primeira_Liga#League_table

Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Head-to-head points; 3) Head-to-head goal difference; 4) Head-to-head away goals scored; 5) Goal difference;

Benfica drew 1-1 with Sporting at home, and they got 0-0 away over the weekend, so on point 4 above Sporting edges Benfica with a win in the last game.

They don’t apply it until the end of the season according to them notes.

Which is weird.

I'm so happy for everyone involved with the club, and for us fans, that we get to see champions league football in the first season of our new stadium.

and Levy has asked as a gesture of goodwill to show your gratitude can he have an extra £100 per season ticket, as he feels your all getting a bonus of CL football
