and Levy has asked as a gesture of goodwill to show your gratitude can he have an extra £100 per season ticket, as he feels your all getting a bonus of CL football

That's fine with me I don't have a season ticket. Pay up you fuckers.

Thought the EL winners go into Pot 1 next season? If Marseille win it doesn't matter if Liverpool lose as we'd be pot 3 already.
That said qualifying is different next season and both Basel and Benfica if all favs won may have to beat Ajax or Lyon to qualify.

I have been on the UEFA website and assuming that they're using the 17-18 coefficient for next season, there are four clubs ahead of our current 19th position that won't be in the Champions League:- Chelsea, Arsenal, Sevilla (who cannot finish higher than 7th) and Zenit (who finished 5th and are in the Europa).

This places us 15th and regardless of whatever happens in either the CL or Europa League Finals, we can't be lower than 16 as Athleti are already ahead of us and have qualified via the League anyway and Marseille are ranked 46 and can't reach our points total even if they win the Europa.
There is also the possibility of going higher than this if Benfica or Basel don't qualify.

Therefore we will be in Pot 2.

Lokomotiv Moskow are currently ranked 63 and are nowhere near our points total although they will be in the CL as winners of the Russian League.

Anyway, I hope this is right, if not...I'm sorry.

Don't think that the Europa League winners go directly into Pot 1 or 2, just directly qualify for the CL.
I'm pretty sure (but not totally) that the coefficients are the sole criterion for determining the seedings for the Group stages.

Anyway, here's a relevant link: http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/news/newsid=1592815.html

Coefficients only apply to pots 2-4

Pot one is reserved for the champions of each league. Don't think Europa get Pot 1 though - I thought Man United was in Pot 2 this season.

Pot 1:

Man City
PSG
Barcelona
Juventus
Bayern
Porto
Lokamotiv Moskow
Real Madrid / Liverpool
You may well be right, but it does not say anything about that on the UEFA website that I can find.
I will look again.
It does say this however : "The rankings determine the seeding of each club in relevant UEFA competition draws. "
But even though this is taken directly from UEFA's website, I don't trust it that much.

Hint - not trying to be difficult here, but I am correct.

See: https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2528730.html?iv=true

2018/19 group stage as it stands

ESP: Barcelona*, Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid, Valencia
GER
: Bayern München*, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim
ENG: Manchester City*, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool
ITA: Juventus, Napoli, Roma, Lazio
FRA: Paris Saint-Germain*, Lyon
RUS: Lokomotiv Moskva*, Spartak Moskva
POR: Porto*
UKR: Shakhtar Donetsk
BEL: Club Brugge
TUR: Galatasaray

Sixteen of these 24 clubs took part in this season's group stage.

Teams in bold will definitely finish in one of the qualifying places.

*clinched Pot 1 slot as champion of a top-seven ranked nation

This was before this week's results - but you can see where the Pot 1 teams com from - the 8th is the CL Champion from this season.

Thanks for the link...I couldn't find it.
Indeed this confirms your view. I was incorrect. Sorry.
However, still might get pot 2 without Real winning as Benfica might have to beat Lyon, Spartak Moscow, Ajax or Dynamo Kiev to get through.

Dunno this says Europa league winner goes into pot one with CL winner and 6 x top league winners. There's a UEFA pdf in references that says same so I'm guessing it's a change for next season.
Yup - this must be a change from last season, Because Man United were not a pot 1 team last year

Here is the section quoted above:

13.06 For the purpose of the draw, the 32 clubs involved in the group stage are seeded into four groups of eight. The first group comprises the titleholder (top seed), the UEFA Europa League titleholder and the domestic champions of the six 20 II – Competition System associations ranked highest in the access list (see Annex A). If either or both titleholders are the domestic champions of one of the top six associations, the group is completed with the champion(s) of the next highest ranked association(s). The other three groups are composed in accordance with the club coefficient rankings established at the beginning of the season (see Annex D).

Though it is interesting - because what I quoted above is taken directly from UEFA.com - where it says the top-7 leagues' champions will be in pot 1.

It is definitely the top 7 leagues plus the champ lge winners if they are already in pot 1 then it is the next top league which I believe is Ukraine , not that it matters as it does not apply this year.

Lokomotiv will be Pot 1 for winning the league.

Madrid (providing they lose to Pool), Atletico, Dortmund, Utd, Shakhtar, Benfica, Napoli and Basel will be Pot 2.

So we’ll have to rely on a real win, or Basel not making the group stage through the quali rounds?

Though it is interesting - because what I quoted above is taken directly from UEFA.com - where it says the top-7 leagues' champions will be in pot 1.
UEFA changed their minds late on - the change only came to light for the first time in the regulations released on Friday, and their own site hasn't been updated yet.

We need two of the following four things to happen in order to be in Pot 2:

1) Real Madrid to win the Champions League
2) Atletico Madrid to win the Europa League
3) FC Basel to go out in qualifying
4) Benfica to go out in qualifying
