Just seen it now and not sure it was a pen. Mane puts the ball past the defender then is falling into the defenders before he makes a challenge. Looks like cheating to me.
How dare you suggest Mane dived. Dont you realise that liverpool players never cheat!

They just recapped on the radio, 'pool have to go bin-dipping for a win by two clear goals at home again Napoli to go through.

I give up, I'll just ask the depressed Scouser at work tomorrow.
Had Napoli won 3-0, pool would have needed to win by 2 clear goals. Since they won 3-1, it means that pool can go through if they win with a clean sheet (1-0). If Napoli score, pool HAVE to win by 2 clear goals to advance.

In real time - I can understand why the Ref has given the pen, but if it were reviewed by VAR, there would be no Pen.

Mane clearly going down before any contact.

It was a pen, Di Maria's legs were obstructing Mane's run.

If you think Kane's incident at Anfield last season was a pen then so was that.

Messi expected to be rested as well. Manager has said this is about Barcelona's needs, not Inter's

Klopp on radio news prog this morning saying "they knew it was going to be a hard group"

Let's get the excuses in early eh ?

(Although I fully anticipate Liverpool will go through - the internet demands it)

We all know Ospina is a shit keeper. But what he does for Liverpool's winner is next level awful. Stay on his near post and the shot never goes in, it is sometimes that simple.

Looking at the possible teams for last 16 now, I think I want Bayern (and beat them 5-1)

Dortmund
PSG
Bayern Munich
Porto
Real Madrid
Juventus

I believe we'd have a very good chance against Real Madrid, we have faced them before and they are on somewhat of a downward spiral. PSG, Bayern Münich and Juventus just have that extra level of quality and experience that usually decides tight matches.

Dortmund and Porto would naturally be preferable aswell but they are both very good teams that basically can have full focus on the CL. Further more I can see the media hype calling it an "Easy draw" touting us as favourites etc - which let's be honest usually doesn't suit us.

got psg all over it. just think we can beat anybody and hopefully the team believe it now after last night.

i assume as we're second in the group we automatically play the first game at home or is that completely open in the draw now?
