got psg all over it. just think we can beat anybody and hopefully the team believe it now after last night.

i assume as we're second in the group we automatically play the first game at home or is that completely open in the draw now?
You're right, the first game will be at home and the return leg away.

Liverpool v Porto is nailed on, put your money on it now.

Last matches of the group stage this evening.

17.55
Real Madrid v CSKA
Viktoria Plzen v Roma
20.00
Man City v Hoffenheim
Valencia v Man Utd
Ajax v Bayern Mun
Benfica v AEK Athens
Shaktar D v Lyon
Young Boys v Juventus

No free to air to coverage in Ireland tonight, Virgin Sports pay channel is covering both an early and late fixture.
I would assume it to be the two Manc games.

BT Sports will prob cover the UK end of things.

Looking at the possible teams for last 16 now, I think I want Bayern (and beat them 5-1)

Dortmund
PSG
Bayern Munich
Porto
Real Madrid
Juventus

Going out: Dortmund, PSG, Bayern
Winnable but tough: Juventus, Real Madrid
Favourites to go through: Porto

Would love to get revenge on Juve for last year, although Ronaldo's record against us is fucking terrifying to be honest...

I think Ajax/Bayern is the most tempting out of the 8PM games.
Manchester can fuck off as they're both through.

Edit: typical...the one I want to watch aint on.

That have looked poor so far. Rested a few but shocking depth in their squad.
Their transfer windows have been bizarre over the last few years. All they bought were youngsters with no one to compete with Benzema, no replacement for Ronaldo, etc. Bearing the fruit of their mistakes now without Ronaldo to cover up their weaknesses.

Young boys beating a full strength juventus 1-0. Valencia beating full strength United 1-0, tsg hoffenheim beating city, real lost early. Some decent potential upsets today

Who the hell was it on here who said we should buy Jones as backup? Please go spank yourself!
