United caused their own undoing. Pogba lunged in first half when on a yellow, whoever it was managed to jump out the way. Definite second yellow and sending off, then spent ages arguing! Nothing to argue.

Oh and I hope something gets done for the abuse Di Maria suffered in that second half. There was a moment in the far corner where objects were thrown in his direction.

United hadn't faced anyone of real quality bar us (which we dominated and should have got something) and got found out. I like OGS, but he has a long way to go. Should have brought on Lukaku much sooner. Though I don't think he was helped having to take Lingard and Martial off. Was clearly the focal point of whatever plan they had.

Obviously hope Poch stays for as long as possible, but when / if he does leave I hope we go for Tuchel.

He’d have reached the absolute top level of greats had it not been for the frankly, catastrophic injuries.

The fact he went on to have the career he did, despite operating at probably 50% of what he was capable of before his injury, which he suffered aged 21, is just incredible really.

Ronaldo = Best player I've ever seen. Literally had it all. Power, pace, skill, tenacity, great attitude, top team player & lethal finisher.

I'd seen nothing like him before, and I've seen nothing like him since.

Like the Jonah Lomu of footballers.

Ole has done the equivalent of getting a 2nd interview for a job, then turning up drunk with his cock hanging out of his trousers.

Utd got schooled tonight in all honesty.
Ole will get shit for that but it’s just lazy from pundits, journos and fans. Martial and Lingard injuries killed them in the 2nd half as Shaw and Young couldnt cross for shit. They could have gotten a draw out of that, IMO. But that team is just not good enough. They need another AM, CM and a whole new back 4. Ole is legitimately doing much better than he should be with that team.

It's a testament to just how good Ronaldo was that those terrible injuries didn't stop him from achieving everything in the game. Before them he was godlike, after simply fantastic.
It's a shame most ppl only really remember his Madrid period because if you were to simply focus on his Cruzeiro - Barcelona period he'd easily be up there with Maradona, Messi, Pele, etc.

Personally he is my GOAT

It's his Barcelona days that made me REALLY take notice of him. Just seeing how much Bobby Robson enjoyed watching the lad play was enough to give me joy.

TS today was a joke. All on there talking shit like it was in the bag and all Man U had to do was turn up. PSG injuries blah blah blah, Ole has them flying the Man U way blah blah blah.
The best team they have played before tonight was us and, ok they won 1.0, but if you watched the game we wiped the fkin floor with them and on any other day that would have been a drubbing.
Dont get me wrong Ole has done a fantastic job but that defence is shit. I was delighted when I heard Jones has just signed a 5yr deal. Brilliant. He is not good enough. Not if you wanna win the league and CL. He wouldnt get in any other big european super power team imo.

Yeah definitely. It was touching to see him in that documentary and his reaction after that incredible goal too.

The Bobby Robson documentary ?. If so, I cried like a bitch almost all the way through it.

Literally everyone respected and loved the guy. He was like the Attenborough of football.

Pogba clearly forgot he was playing in Europe where United,Liverpool,Chelsea & ManCity players are subject to the same rules as everyone else therefore they can actually receive reds, and that **** with our total bullshit refs got his long overdue... Dirty **** was going for Alves studs up in return for the earlier barge, same way he got away assaulting Alli.

I'm not even sure he is the one doing the work. Based on him being a pretty shit manager before I'm guessing he's now getting help from SAF and his old staff, Mike Phelan for example.

Typical. The one time I wanted United to win.

Martial and Lingard will be big losses, Mata and Sanchez are among those who have definitely not stepped up since Solskjær came in.

I still think Manure will take a fair bit of rebuilding. I dont get the whole talented players business, yeah they have De Gea and one or two others but in general their squad is relatively meh!
Solskjær has managed to uplift and inspire an XI, maybe a couple more. But beyond his preferred 13 there are a lot of players who haven't raised their games (Valencia, Mata, Sanchez, Fred to name a few) who still have to play a fair few games from now to the end of the season. It's clear that when anyone from Ole's first XI has to sit out a game or is subbed early, the quality of the team drops significantly.
