I think that we can draw the four CL who go into the Europa 'unseeded', so the ones with the lowest points totals? But yes, it's utterly ridiculous.

Oh, they're not shabby at all, they're just the weakest of the four third placed teams with the best records that Wigan could conceivably get if they went through.

Watching highlights now and the Schalke-Basel game. Basel played a brilliant move setting four Schalke players offside from a free kick, three of them massively clearly so, but the linesman who's dead lin line didn't flag and Schalke score from it. Mistakes are part of the game and I can accept close calls going wrong, but that's one of the worst offside non-calls I've ever seen.
