When we win the CL I think it's only right we thank Poch by letting him buy 1 100M world class player for the CL money alone - I'm thinking Hazard, once he turns down Real this summer for the new champions of Europe - and then, of course, we use the additional 150M war chest to buy understudies to Sissoko and Winks. It's written in the stars.

Wow, I did not know the money was not equally distributed. Utterly bonkers system, but completely something a corrupt organisation such as UEFA would come up with.

It's not equally distributed in PL either. Lower clubs and leagues get next to nothing. So corrupt PL/FA too.

Protecting the establishment.

It highlights how difficult it is to rise to the top without having a mega backer.

To have to be competitive in the top competition for 10 years to be on a level playing field is ludicrous really. How often does a team compete for that long? Not many!

We’ve seen it in the PL the challengers come then fade away.

Arsenal gonna be down over £100m on all other CL qualifiers this season. If they don’t make it this season it really will start to bite. Considering our 17/18 revenue was £380m. 18/19 figures with extra CL money and stadium revenue could be enormous and go past £450m leaving Arsenal way behind us.

I doubt it will this season, it's cost us more to rent Wembley, and the crowds where way down on last season, a lot of ST money refunded, and we have only had 4 games at the new stadium.

next season if we guarantee CL footy, and get as far as the QF you might get pretty close

True.

I think the only way a club can do it, is to be patient over 15 years and not be afraid to sell their best players and replace them with younger up and coming talent.
