Good back-up that would score goals.

I don't see everyone's issue. People thinking we're gonna get anyone near Kane's level are fucking deluded.

We could do a hell of a lot worse than a player that scored 19 Prem goals last season, and we could probably get him for a bargain price.

I dont get this from Spurs, absolute no brainer from my viewpoint and fits what we need. Proven goal scorer, can hit ground running from january if Kane gets injured can be effective cover, cheap low wages, can play alome up front, what is the catch?

Why not nab him and one for the future? Does he want to be a first choice and play every week? That is the only reason I can think.

He is no world star or elite talent, but if Kane gets injured we need someone who can come in, replace him and bang in some goals.

Manager doesn't want him which means he doesn't fit the managers philosophy and you can see why,

I actually think being a back up would be perfect for him because he has had injury problems so would put less stress on his body if he wasnt playing week in week out.

Are you saying you'd prefer Austin to Embolo?

Embolo is, clearly, a major talent who could come in and score hundreds of goals for us. He'd also cost a lot of money and wants to go to the euros so will want to start. Austin has a proven record of scoring in england, would be cheap and would be happy playing second fiddle.

If the question is which one is the better prospect, Embolo wins, easily. If it is who is less of a risk, Austin wins. If it is who is the better player, right now, for the last 6 months of the season, you CANNOT say, 100%, it is Embolo. Given the price differential, I'd go for Austin.

Am sure you'll say "if you'd honestly rather Austin, I give up, you know nothing about football etc." but real football isn't on a computer screen. There are 100s of variables to take into account, short, medium and long term goals. For me, as I said about Vardy in the summer and had the same comments, Austin is a no risk punt who *could* work out spectacularly well.

Just my onions. Innit
