Chas and Dave always remind me of my time in England because thats when they were at their peak. Gertcha and Rabbit. Fun songs. Bummer.

My Dad was co Manager of Chas and Dave for a few years with his mate Bob England (RIP) I've seen these live more times than most. Lovely Man who will be sorely missed. RIP Mr Hodges

In 1963 I think it was my mate and went into the corner pin pub it was after (the battle of Britain) it was the semi final of the European cup winners cup Spurs 5 Glasgow rangers2 we had a lock in and Chas played the piano until the early morning magic moment

Still got a recording of their show with "Slowhand" and Peters from Peters and Lee on my BT box. Watch it often, brings back so many memories of my youth in North London. The old pub sing alongs, terrific atmosphere you can stuff Karaoke up your jacksy.
Great loss to the music industry as well as Spurs supporters.

R.I.P Chas and only 3 years older than I. :nailbiting:
