Chelsea. Spurs. Not going to happen.

We all know this, why do the media not acknowledge that we are simply not going to be doing business, in either direction, with Chelsea while Dan is in charge, unless the opportunity comes to pull their clubs pants down over a want-away star.

Because they don't give a shit about that. It's in the papers because Chelsea leak a story to try and unsettle our players before a big game, and the papers will print because they need to fill pages. Nothing to concern ourselves with.

I think we should jump the gun.... let's offer them someone - except I'm struggling to find any dead wood in our squad any more....

Wouldn't be too bothered if they took Trippier...

....because Dembele will be 29 year next year. I don't think we can afford to turn down that kind of money for a 29 year old outfield player, now that we have a proper scouting set up, I'm more confident of us getting a good replacement.

When you have a system and personal that is working you don't need to disrupt that unless he wanted to go. 29 is no age really.

All players are sellable Man Utd sold Ronaldo to Madrid, Liverpool sold Sterling to City. We sold Bale to Madrid.

Like I said Dembele is going to be 29 next year, every player has a price whether we like it or not, it's the reality. I don't feel it's in our best interests to turn down, a very high bid if one comes in, in the summer.

They all wanted to go, you are intimating we look to shift Dembele because he is turning 29?

Made up bullshit said:
Chelsea star issues come and get me plea to Tottenham.

Eden Hazard has said he wants to play Champions League football next year and wants to go to a club who are going somewhere.. he has chosen Tottenham.

Jose Mourinho relunctantly knows he can't keep his best stars anymore so has told Spurs they can have him in swap for Moussa Dembele

That's the only way I'd do business with Chel$ki

I'm not even sure he'd do that well at Chelsea anyway.

Poch has got him playing this season, but he's not been that great for the last couple of years.

He might just slip into 'retirement mode', especially with a fat contract under his belt and a squad of mercenaries around him.

In footballing terms at the very top level at 29, a outfield player player is approaching the end of his career, I mean it's on the proviso that he keeps his current form and a big bid comes in for him in the summer, I'm sure if a big CL club came in for him and we aren't in the CL he would give serious consideration to leaving as it could be his last chance to play CL football.

Chelski, just their very name summons up bad vibes for me and it's all down to their unscrupulous Russian mafia boss owner, coupled with Mourinho's school of dark arts and captained by Mr. white trash personified.
Glad that Eva left that group of gangsters as she was the only light in that very dark abyss called Stamford Bridge.

mmm ... is it just me or did their decline start with our annihilation of them last season and then gain rapid momentum as soon at Courtois got injured?

I have been on Dembele's case in the recent past but I wouldn't sell in the form he's in at the moment, even if this story was true. I don't think we could get a replacement in January because clubs don't want to sell their best players at that time.

However if they wanted to make a bid of 20 million+ in the summer, we should definitely consider doing a deal, chiefly because Dembele will be 29 year next year. I don't think we can afford to turn down that kind of money for a 29 year old outfield player, now that we have a proper scouting set up, I'm more confident of us getting a good replacement.

In current form. He's not only one of our best players, but probably our best player. In terms of natural talent, he's our best player. 29 or not, is it advisable to sell our best player to anyone?

The bid would have to be very big but ultimately Levy should let the decision be Pochettino's. Now we've finally got a top manager, it's time to give him what he wants (within the financial structure of the club)

But he is likely to keep his powder dry with Chelsea and Stoke City both holding a keen interest in him.

Stoke? As if.

You have to think about ho much good years you can get out of him, I mean I hope he remains consistent for the whole of the season but we aren't even half way through yet, a lot can happen.

Christ. Kane, Poch, Moose.

Tedious.
I see it as a good thing, it means we're going in the right direction and the players are at the top of the game. It's like when the was talk about Mourinho wanting Jenas at Inter Milan, Jenas was on top form at time.
