Like I said Dembele is going to be 29 next year, every player has a price whether we like it or not, it's the reality. I don't feel it's in our best interests to turn down, a very high bid if one comes in, in the summer.

In footballing terms at the very top level at 29, a outfield player player is approaching the end of his career, I mean it's on the proviso that he keeps his current form and a big bid comes in for him in the summer, I'm sure if a big CL club came in for him and we aren't in the CL he would give serious consideration to leaving as it could be his last chance to play CL football.

I have been on Dembele's case in the recent past but I wouldn't sell in the form he's in at the moment, even if this story was true. I don't think we could get a replacement in January because clubs don't want to sell their best players at that time.

However if they wanted to make a bid of 20 million+ in the summer, we should definitely consider doing a deal, chiefly because Dembele will be 29 year next year. You have to think about ho much good years you can get out of him, I mean I hope he remains consistent for the whole of the season but we aren't even half way through yet, a lot can happen.
