I'm sure I read the other week that Conte is under investigation by the Italian authorities for fraud or tax evasion. Maybe he'll not just be gone, but he'll be doing time. How appropriate for that mob.

You know you're a scum bucket when someone that might get locked up for corruption thinks you're a bad influence on the club.

Mark Schwarzer on the BBC text feed today

"I just hope this is not John Terry's last opportunity. If I was Antonio Conte I would keep him on at Chelsea. During my time there he was an unbelievable professional. I can't speak highly of him."

Typo or Freudian slip?

Nothing will happen of it, there was a case of match fixing when he was managing at genoa but so far there has been no suggestion he was involved

Chelsea are going to end their deal with Adidas SIX years early, next year. They have to pay Adidas compensation so they can sign with a competitor.

It's going to be Nike isn't it.

Stadium rights too, they're like a bloody magpie whenever they see something shiny.

The fact that they can afford to pay off a deal that gives them money is crazy.

Let's face it. The new stadium was always going to have some corporation's name, however much we'd like to see a name such as, er, White Hart Lane, for instance. No corporate money (and plenty of it), no new stadium.

Apparently he was offered something like £20m a season to play in China.
