I am all for youth but we need some muscle in midfield, otherwise we just have mason and Bents, if we sell the rest. He was our third best CM last year. We need to sell Paulinho, Capoue. Holtby before him.
I would agree we need more muscle/experience in there and he's not a priority to sell compared to others. However I think the club needs another signing or two in there anyway, Dembele money can be used to sign someone more fitting to the style of play.

I just think with the rest of the story about bents going to Liverpool in the sun for 10 mil smellse it's all crap

Something odd going on with Chelsea at the moment. They have been linked with Witsel, Alderweireld and now Dembele.

The press seem to think they are keen on going Belgian after the success of Courtois and Hazard. If this was remotely true, and Witsel is very close to a move to Juve btw, then between Chelsea and Chadli's wishlist, the whole Belgian national team could be playing in London next season :p

Thats a pretty good point, it could be Courtois is home sick and unable to settle in London. Having someone who ran help him adapt to life could help. We have done it with Modric in the past.

what's up with there mum, with her choice of names Yaya and Kolo can she only grasp a couple of letters.

Well give her some credit, she did actually use 5 letters for the two of them, she could have got away with three letters and called them Tim and Tom.

Agreed, he has the potential to be a wonderful player. Reminds me of Zidane, the way he protects the ball so strongly, and glides effortlessly past players.

In my opinion, Dembele needs to play in a team with wingers. The space he makes in the middle draws the opposition in, creating spaces out wide.

To play to Dembele's strengths - and he is probably our most naturally gifted player - we need to play a conventional 4.4.2. Dembele and Bentaleb in the middle, Lennon and Townsend out wide, and Ade and Kane up top. That team would destroy oppositions.

Absolutely. With that team I can see us coming straight back up the season after next .

Could quite see Dembele being the monster he is capable of being under Mourinho's guidance.
I agree with your assessment of his potential, but as far as I saw, the only time he played anything close to it at Spurs was before the transfer window when he thought his ass could be on the firing-line.
Very disappointing player for Spurs i.m.o.
