Anyone, like myself, believe we can do, what no one else, has done for over 60 odd games? And beat them in there own backyard?

After seeing the Chelsea/Villa game, today. I believe without a shadow of a doubt, we've got there number. Let's hope we don't get that mental block, like we do against Le'Arse.

Chelsea, are a fucking shambles, right now. Easily do them..

They have injuries to Drogba, Terry and possibly Lampard (saw him limp off on MOTD last night). Several players going to African Nations as well. Never have a better chance.

Although i thought that in the cup last year and look what happened there.

I really think we'll turn them over, especially with the injury problems and suspensions they have.

It would take a combination of circumstances which are about as likely as us getting drawn against Arsenal in 6 out of 7 semi finals.

not really. Going to keep my pessimism firmly in position for this one.

I'm going to this but will be sitting in East stand.

Can't really see it being an enjoyable experience. Even if we win I'll only be able to afford myself a quiet chuckle or two.

Why won't it be an enjoyable experience? You will have no problems in the East Stand. You would have problems if you were sitting in the Matthew Harding stand.

Fucking annoying that we're playing them in 4 games time, and Cole and Carvalho are out for 3.

Their defence is not the same without Terry. The main thing is to keep a tight rein on Essien and we should be in with a chance.

Chelsea, are a fucking shambles, right now. Easily do them..

2 important points need to be made:

1. They're not a fucking shambles. They're not at their best and are missing a few players, but they are still very capable of outplaying the opposition and yesterday showed they can score goals from all over the pitch.

2. Right now they are not at their best, but we're not playing them tomorrow. IF they dont get key players back by the 14th and IF we continue to improve in our next 3 games then yeah, we CAN do 'em. But they are 2 very big ifs, and until then we need to focus 100% on Reading at home.

Cech's back though, and I think he's as important as Terry and Drogba...

Also we'll miss Cole and Carvalho's suspensions by a game - Carvalho's isn't being appealed, and Cole's will be decided on Friday, so no chance of it being delayed...

Lampard's out for 'a few weeks' - we play them in just under 3 and a half weeks, so he may be back by then...

They'll lose Drogba, Essien and Mikel to the ANC, so they could be missing 5 first teamers...

Certainly, the way both us and Chelsea are playing at the moment we could get a point, which is still a good result...

We're on a building exercise. Building belief. We must 'do' Reading as we have got rid of 'difficult' Pompey and dross like Fulham. These victories are the springboard to games against Chelsea.

They are bloody horrible hard work.

Ramos knows we can do them. I'm sure they played him the tape, especially the bit when we were winning at half time...

Can we? We must dare to.

But can we?

Yes.

Which is the East stand, is it the stand opposite the tunnel?

If so there was loads and loads of spurs fans in that stand last year in the FA Cup game.

It's obvious that when Mr. Terry doesn't play, they are vulnerable at the back and leak lots of goals, if fact 2 or more per games (Villa game this year and reading,Fulham,Wigan etc.. games last year.). So that's where we have our best chance.

you see, we are not that bad attacking. aren't we?

Without question.

Chelsea are going to be a bastard to beat away one way or another regardless of injuries / absences but this is definitely the best time to play them.

As has been pointed out Terry is a massive miss for them. Fat Frank is also injured and while I agree he will most likely be back I don't believe he will be at his best coming off the injury. Drogba is a huge miss too as i s Essien if he's off to the ACN. Regarding Cech - he's going through some poor form (even b4 his howler v Villa they pointed out on MOTD that he looked dodgy)

Cole and Carvallhio will be back but missing games is not the ideal build up to a big match.

So, yes, I reckon we can beat them!
