This was a tough game already, especially off the back of our slight collapse in the second half last Monday. Alli is a loss but Dier would be a bigger one - without both of them we lose our shape and a lot of our flow.

I think Carroll and Chadli will be the replacements, and we'll still carry a goal threat, but we won't break up play as well and it will be harder for the full backs to get forward without Dier covering them.

It seems like a huge part of the change in our team's fortune is due to changes in attitude. Spurs aren't afraid to play games at places like Stamford Bridge any more, and a big part of why is thanks to Dier (and Alli, and others too) carrying himself with confidence and refusing to be pushed around. Losing Dier for almost any game could be a huge problem, but in this game especially, we really need his presence on the field.

Alli was always going to be a risk now that he's a marked man, so not surprised he accepted his fate. If Man Utd wins or draws on Sunday then I would be surprised if Dier does not start. Would like to see N'jie out there at some point, too. The lad has explosive pace down the flanks.
Here's my team for Chelski (A):
Lloris
Walker Toby Jan Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Eriksen Chadli
Kane
Subs: Vorm Wimmer Davies Son Carroll Mason N'jie

I'd have Son over Chadli, he works a lot harder!
