You make your own luck. We knew going into the season that Son would be gone at this time. We knew going into the season that our players had been run into the ground over the summer. We knew going into this season that Dembele and Wanyama were crocked. So much of what has been put down to bad luck is really the product of our outrageously piss poor squad management.

It's a weird one playing Llorente without wing backs. He really is very limited in terms of movement, so if we're not going to play to his strengths (=crosses), then why play him at all. We can't play Chelsea with 10 men (functionally). He can't play like Kane (or Dele).

Llorente does not deserve to be picked for a semi final and his limitations are costing us.
Dier is showing why he will never be first pick in midfield again. Jogging around, out of position, absolutely no awareness of the dangers around him.

Lucas needs to be on now.

Just saw the replay of that hazard goal.

Dier needs hooking for that, disgraceful. He gives away the free kick, lets hazard take it, the run past him and eventually hazard scores, while he still hasn’t got out of a jog. Pathetic

Unfortunately these lapses in concentration and effort are very common in Dier. Will never be a top level player because of how often and costly his mistakes are.
